This fall we had over 1000 kids registered. With only 4 board members. Tons of coaches & commissioners (thank you) and a few behind the scenes volunteers. Without these people stepping up EPSA would not have ran successfully this fall. Last Saturday at Flying Cloud fields we passed out donuts and coffee in hopes that we could gain some feedback and possibly get some of you to step up and volunteer your time! We had only ONE person sign up.
The next spring session will not happen if we cannot get these roles filled soon! Planning for the 2024 Spring Season is already happening. These roles are VERY IMPORTANT. If you are interested in signing up or would love more information reach out to Desiree at [email protected] for more info. We want to continue with EPSA - but without help we cannot. Please share this post! Want to share a role, grab a friend or neighbor to help. The EP community is great, we know we can get these filled ASAP. Join us for the next board meeting October 11th @ 7pm at the EP community center. we will read off all the feedback that was received last Saturday and brainstorm how to make EPSA even better!

EPSA is canceling all practices due to extreme heat Tuesday Aug 23 and Wednesday Aug 24 while the heat advisory is in place

Due to extreme heat conditions today, EPSA Soccer will be cancelling all practices tonight! Stay cool.

Hello EPSA Families,

We are super excited to see everyone out at Flying Cloud Fields tomorrow.

Rosters have been sent out for all Divisions - Login to your EPSA account today to see rosters if you haven't already.

If you have questions or if you are not sure where to go tomorrow Saturday, August 19th for your first practice please just show up at the time listed on the chart below that your division plays. We will have a registration help table set up near the brown shed we will have a sheet printed with everyone's Team # and Field # for Saturday!

Please make sure you come with shin guards, soccer ball and water bottle. Cleats are optional.

Please thank your coach and other volunteers. More importantly, please keep a spirit of gratitude throughout the season. Coaches are not paid and need the cooperation and presence of other families to coach at their best. So, when they ask you to line judge, please do not avoid eye contact, but be willing to help out and learn as needed. Step up to bring drinks or do whatever you can, and please keep a positive attitude. Please also be patient as some of our coaches are learning. EPSA is fun and affordable, and it is our volunteers who make it that way. Please consider making plans now to make yourself available to take on a volunteer role of some kind next season.
With over 1000+ kids registered and 88 teams this season - we truly appreciate all the coaches and volunteers that stepped up (we know you all are busy)

Key volunteers needed to successfully have a Fall season.

Open roles

Coaching Director –

Plan start of season coach meeting and coaching clinic(s)
Send out weekly emails during the season suggesting key skills to focus on for the week and practice plans (already available, can be customized)
Manage all coach issues during season
Provide on-field guidance for coaches (optional)
This role takes approximately 15 hours of time during the season and is best split among 2-3 volunteers.

Purchasing Director –

Purchase player jerseys and coach shirts
Organize player uniforms by team
Work with jersey lettering vendor to have players’ names put on jerseys
Organize distribution of jerseys to Commissioners
Manage all coach issues during season
Manage all player jersey adjustments as needed during the season
This role takes approximately 15 hours of time before/during/after the season.

Equipment Director –

Sort through the equipment bags at the end of the season
store equipment in EPSA storage locker for off season
Restock coach bags prior to season start
Distribute coach bags at the field on the first day
This role takes approximately 2-4 hours of time at the beginning and 2-4 hours at the end of the season.
