Who to watch TONIGHT

Week 3 of Minnesota Hugh School Football and we have some elite athletes making some BIG plays tonight!

Orono Football has the home field advantage tonight against SMB Wolfpack @ 7:00 p.m. The Spartans are entering Week 3 undefeated. The team has shown up to their games ready to show off - and they have. They have great momentum heading into this Friday Night Lights game.

You can catch TWO of our athletes on the field. Carsen and Parker Burckhardt.

Carsen has been a senior leader on the field. Recording 8 tackles and 1 interception during the season opener against the Zimmerman Thunder, MaxPrep Sports named him the player of the game on Aug. 31, 2024. It’s looking like Carsen will have a great senior season.

Parker has been putting in the work on the offensive line, on and off the field. Parker’s strength, speed and agility prove to be the best of the best. He has grown so much through this time at Potenza. It’s only UP from here!

We have partnered with the University of Minnesota to give their students the opportunity to work with our elite athletes!! We have a certified program to offer students the chance to have hands on experiences in building next level athletes. We look forward to showcasing our program to the Golden Gophers.

Starting the school year off right with Maple Grove Hockey. It’s been a summer of tough training and work but they’ve pushed through to bring their best foot forward. Looking forward to a great season with the team 💪

NEW YEAR NEW SCHOOLS

We are back to working with Maple Grove High School. This is our sixth year working with the Crimson Athletics Department. We’ve been training the Boys Hockey Team since summer began to prep for the upcoming season.

This is our first year out at DeLaSalle. After only one day of training, we can see their dedication to their craft. We are so excited to work with the Islander Athletes throughout the 2024-25 school year.

These athletes are strong, powerful, and passionate. We are excited to see where our program takes them.

WEEK 1 of Potenza Track is complete ❕

Our athletes, Chris Peris and JJ Hook, competed in the 1st USATF meet on Tuesday, June 18th at Minneapolis South High School. And finished at the top of their events!!

Peris competed in both the 100 meter and 200 meter runs, and finished 7th and 6th.

Hook earned a 2nd place finish in the 13-14 100 meter hurdles.

Great start to the season by these two powerful athletes. Time to grind and grow over this season.

SENDING ANOTHER ONE TO THE FCS CHAMPIONS🏆🏆

Josh Wedel recently committed to South Dakota State University football team as a Defensive Lineman - Class of 2029.

Can’t wait to see what you accomplish at the NEXT LEVEL🏈

Wedel will be joining fellow Potenza alumni, Lofton O’Groske, in Brookings, S.D. following his senior season at Chaska High School.

Last winter, Potenza teamed up with GATORADE and HyperCharge Clinic to share ‘Education Hydration Day’ with Maple Grove Senior High School.

The goal of Education Hydration is to help these athletes understand the importance of hydrating on and off the field.

Student athletes heard from Minnesota Vikings Legend, Autry Beamon, at the event.
