Tip Tuesday // January Roundup - Ghosting

This month we worked through various ghosting drills in the front, mid and back court. Implementing these drills will help you improve your fitness, footwork, and muscle memory! Remember to always get back to the T in between each movement, and to keep your speed constant.

Feature of the Week // PSA World Tour Finals Leaderboard Updates

After the conclusion of the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions this past week, Nouran Gohar and Rowan Elaraby have made moves on the PSA leaderboard. Gohar has moved up from 10th to 6th, while Elaraby has moved up 4 places to 10th!

The quarter-finals lineup has been set for the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Championships, after day 5 of matches:

▪️Amina Orfi beat Tinne Gilis in a 5-game match
▪️Mazen Hesham beat Fares Dessouky in a 3-game match
▪️Rowan Elaraby beat Nele Gilis in a 5-game match 
▪️Diego Elias beat Youssef Ibrahim in a 4-game match

Last week, we hosted a clinic with a local homeschoolers' coop (STAR co-op/CHOICES) and introduced 15 kids to squash! They learned the basics with an hour-long clinic, then had a chance to play games, along with playing ping pong and enjoying some snacks.
