INFUSION VISION SERIES: Every Auxiliary Fellowship Ministry & Chrisian Education Ministry is an OUTREACH EVANGELISM ministry; effectively making us a GODPLEASING Outreach-Emphasis Church with a Sanctuary Culture.

At Infusion Church, we understand the importance of outreach evangelism and are retooling to ensure that we position ourselves within the reach of every community we are committed to serving. But it goes beyond positioning to include extending our arms to reach those who will be receptive to our Christ-inspired love and the gospel message we share.

WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE

A person does not have to be a member of INFUSION CHURCH to join any of our auxiliary fellowship ministries or Christian Education opportunities. We encourage the leaders of these ministries to grow their membership to 2-5 times the size of our church membership and view that group as a pool for evangelism. That leader, working with their pastor, will systematically introduce Christ and His Salvation to these participants to the end that (1) members of the fellowship will accept JESUS as their personal savior and (2) those members of the fellowship who do accept JESUS will make an additional decision to embrace Infusion Church as their church home.

The ultimate goal is winning more souls to CHRIST. We believe that every other gain (ie. church membership) is secondary to that main goal.

In our Church Town Hall, Pastoral Team and Board meetings, we will regularly report on our progress in this VISION AREA. We will not measure as much how many decisions; but rather how many quality engagements that can lead to such decisions. It is GOD who gives the increase, so we need only focus on the quality of our seed, our water and our audience. The right outcome should be inevitable with the right GOD-INFUSED activity.

If we fully embrace this VISION AREA, growth (kingdom growth, spiritual growth & church growth) will be the byproduct of GODPLEASING MINISTRY.

NEXT SUNDAY we confirm & commission Lady Z & Min Dave. THIS WEEK we ready our INFUSION FAMILY for fruitful service & ministry. VISION - GOVERNANCE - STANDARDS is the pastoral focus today.

Our guest preacher for the September 15th Confirmation & Commissioning Service is Pastor Andre Wilson of The Connect Church of Baltimore.

The Wilson family has been strong supporters of Infusion Church from its inception. Pastor Wilson is a dynamic preacher and will bless us real good through the message God has given him to share. We strongly encourage you to be in attendance.

The Pastoral Team Members being commissioned are: Administrative Pastor Lady Zabrina Scofield and Youth Pastor David Watts. This service will start promptly at 12:30 PM.

For the next two Sundays (September 1st & 8th), we will not be streaming our worship services to this public page, but we will resume our public stream here on September 15th for our much anticipated Confirmation & Commissioning Service.

Members and guests are encouraged to join us in-person for the next two Sundays; and for members who absolutely cannot join us in person, you can access a livestream link from our Infusion Members group page.

Minister Dave, or DAY-ONE DAVE as we call him, is a dedicated member and minister in our INFUSION family. His Christian service traces back to his years of spiritual formation at the Rehoboth Apostolic Church of God in Middleton, DE, and his father in the gospel, Pastor Nuton Blake. During his time at Rehoboth, he grew in his knowledge of the Scriptures and utilized his musical gifts to help usher in the presence of God in every worship service. With the mentorship and endorsement of his pastor he become a licensed minister of the gospel and was invited to preach in the international gatherings of the Churches of God in Christ Jesus Apostolic as well as some of its local assemblies. In his secular vocation, he is also a minister to youth, headlining the nightly North Bay LIVE program where thousands of youth from near and far have come to know him as Mister Dizzle.

In the time Minister Dizzle has been with Infusion, he has contributed greatly to our church mission and family. As a music minister and son of a wonderful songstress in her own right (Evangelist Alison Ringgold-Maple), he sings, plays the keyboard and directs the worship participants. As the director of worship design, he prayerfully plans our worship segment - choosing fresh and relevant songs that lift people and usher in the presence of God. As a minister of the gospel, he preaches and teaches with passion. As a good member, he supports his church with his tithes and offerings; and he strives to maintain good spiritual alignment with Christ Jesus and his pastor.

Minister Dave will be confirmed and commissioned on Sunday, September 15th as the Youth Pastor of Infusion Church overseeing our youth ministry operations and representing the Sr Pastor when requested in special forums. He will be responsible to leverage his gifts and experience to develop a top-notch program to meet the needs of our various youth tier groups and grow our youth participation to 3x the size of church membership. He will also oversee an evangelistic plan to win the non-member participants to Christ and possibly welcome them into the church family. Ultimately he will ensure that the mission, vision, core values and culture of Infusion is palatable to all youth and youth workers.

To ensure that he is not overwhelmed, he will be empowered to build a support team to whom he may delegate duties. He will be able to appoint and release workers at his discretion to achieve the mission of our youth ministry operations. He will attend and appoint youth representatives to special meetings and conferences as necessary.

The responsibility of good leadership is to bring out the best in people and ensure everyone is empowered to succeed in their area of service. Therefore, Minister Dave will be fully trained over the course of 9 months in accordance to a development plan set forth by the Senior Pastor. At the conclusion of this on-the-job training, he will be duly ordained and given more autonomy to support the pastoral needs of our INFUSION YOUTH.

THIS IS A SERIOUS RESPONSIBILITY and we hope all our members, family and friends will join us on September 15th as we confirm and commission Minister Dave to his new office as Youth Pastor.

Lady Z is a phenomenal first lady and certainly the hardest working member at INFUSION. However, her ministry work ethic predates Infusion Church and her blessed marriage, to when she served 20 years at the Haven of Rest Sanctuary of Praise with her mom (Apostle Dena Jobes). Among many roles executed, she was most notably an Amourbearer, Nurse & Chauffer; and anyone who served with her mom had to be a trained ghostbuster (or intercessor 🙂).

As a first lady, she is very approachable and welcoming. She is an elegant lady who will roll up her sleeves in a heartbeat to serve or defend. When essential team members are absent, she takes on even more responsibility without complaining. Its hard to watch her throughout the service and not be inspired by her level of dedication. Its also hard to watch her and know that she is doing far more than any church should ask of their first lady. And yet here we go again, adding to her responsibilities.

Lady Z will be confirmed and commissioned on Sunday, September 15th as the Administrative Pastor of Infusion Church overseeing all ministry operations and representing the Sr Pastor in regular board meetings and other forums where a decision from the pastoral office is required. Similar to the corporate model where the COO oversees internal business while the CEO nurtures external relationships, all internal business and relational matters will bubble up to the Senior Pastor through her office; freeing up the Senior Pastor to focus on sacerdotal functions and extending the ministry footprint.

To ensure that she is not overwhelmed, she will be empowered to build a support team to whom she may delegate duties. She will be able to appoint and release workers at her discretion to achieve the mission of our church. She will chair church (member) meetings and town halls, and her presence will be required at all monthly and emergency board meetings except for the quarterly or semi-annual meetings attended by the Senior Pastor.

The responsibility of good leadership is to bring out the best in people and ensure everyone is empowered to succeed in their area of service. Therefore, Lady Z will be fully trained over the course of 9 months in accordance to a development plan set forth by the Senior Pastor. At the conclusion of this on-the-job training, she will be duly ordained and given more autonomy to oversee the day-to-day operations.

THIS IS A SERIOUS RESPONSIBILITY and we hope all our members, family and friends will join us on September 15th as we confirm and commission Lady Z to her new office as Administrative Pastor.

Just a few weeks to go before we confirm and commission Lady Zabrina D Scofield & Min David Watts as part of the Infusion Pastoral Team; and we are excited to have Pastor Phillip André Wilson (The Connect Church of Baltimore) as our special guest speaker for this occasion.

We are so blessed to have Lady Z and Minister Dave moving into their new roles to offer greater support to our bishop; and we want to stand united in pushing them through the confirmation process.
