When it comes to lash extensions, preparation is key! First of all, you need to make sure you are clear on what kind of look you want to achieve. Whether you want a dramatic or subtle look, doing some research ahead of time will help you decide the type of lash you should get.

Next, it is extremely important to make sure that you find the best person for your lash extensions. Make sure you read reviews and ask friends and family for referrals so you can find a tech who is experienced and licensed. It is also advisable to allow ample time for the appointment so that a proper consultation can be done.

Once you find a good salon and tech for your lash extensions, you should be aware that you need to do maintenance on the lashes every two to four weeks. Make sure you set up an appointment for this at the same time as your initial appointment.

When it comes to the actual day of your appointment, make sure you arrive with a clean face and do not wear any eye makeup. It is also recommended to stay away from caffeine before the appointment as it may cause your eyes to flutter and make it difficult for the lash tech to do their job.
