↗ Work/Life Balance
-I love my career & my clients, but my family is the most important thing in the world. This goal continues to make the list regardless of the season.

↗ Consulting
-If you've followed me long enough, you know I strive to be anything but your run-of-the-mill loan advisor. The market, depending on where you live (or want to live) is everchanging, especially after the recent interest rate change, & I want to make sure I stick with my philosophy of consulting and connections over anything else.

Families often ask me how they can start saving if they need a down payment & this is just a tidbit of the advice I came up with:

↗ Create a budget (and stick to it)!
I know, I know, easier said than done, but if you give it a shot you'll see how much it can pay off - literally!

↗ Carefully categorize "needs" & "wants."
Again, not an easy task, BUT, keep in mind how much you can save, over time, when you cut out things like daily ☕ coffee shop runs and eating out every other night.

↗ Cut unnecessary expenses.
An easy place to start is to go through your bank statements and reflect on how much you're spending on 📲 monthly subscriptions. Which ones need to go?

A lot has changed since I was a kid.

(& I don't just mean what I do for work 🍕)

My hometown has changed.
The house I grew up in is a different color.
"The suburbs" mean a completly different geographic location than they did even five years ago.
The economy is different.
Most importantly, buying a house is not the same now as it was for my parents.

It takes perspective & experience to see these changes and know how to educate people so they can financially put their best foot forward.
