The standard American diet (SAD) includes regularly eating a high concentration of simple carbohydrates, seed oils, processed food, and sugar.
Following this diet usually means you aren’t eating enough nutrient-rich vegetables, fruits, protein, and healthy fat. It often leads to conditions like type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular issues. The SAD can contribute to developing many other conditions as well.
This is a product aimed at helping to balance inflammation both in the body and in the brain.
Because we see so many patients with nerve and brain symptoms we utilize Essential Resveratrol Blend as part of our nutritional support protocols frequently. We particularly think about this product whenever a patient has pain from any source or neurological symptoms.
This is a frequent inflammatory support product in tick-borne cases like Lyme and Bartonella, but it can also be used for many other inflammatory conditions. The combination of Turmeric, Resveratrol, and Broccoli Extract is ideal for supporting nerve and joint inflammation.

Are you getting enough vitamin C?
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin that our bodies cannot make on their own. We have to get vitamin C through the diet or supplementation.
Vitamin C is also an antioxidant that can help fight off free radicals and improve skin, detoxification, immune support, and stool regularity.

Have a happy, fun, and safe 4th of July Celebration!
In one sense, when it comes to inflammation, sometimes Lyme is more dangerous dead than alive. You can experience inflammatory symptoms long after these bugs have been killed.
Does that mean you shouldn’t try to kill it? No, but this insight provides important information that all Lyme practitioners and patients should be well aware of as they treat this illness.

This week, we're clearing up a few of the common myths surrounding not only Lyme disease but other chronic tick-borne infections as well.
In this video, Dr. Warren points out a few ways doctors have been misguided in their thinking and practices and answers some questions about chronic Lyme, why doctors get confused, and how testing (the classic IgG vs. IgM confusion) can lead doctors and patients astray in the case of chronic illnesses.

Have a safe and special Memorial Weekend, friends, and may we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.
In 2022, Johns Hopkins conducted a study titled “Risk of post-treatment Lyme disease in patients with early diagnosed and promptly treated Lyme disease: A prospective cohort study.” This study's results should have a great impact on the way doctors and patients approach Lyme disease.
This is the largest peer-reviewed prospective controlled study in the US that specifically focuses on the longer-term outcomes of early diagnosed and promptly treated Lyme disease patients.

Happy Mother's Day from all of us at NutriRestore!
In 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its guidelines for diagnosing and treating Lyme disease. However, what they recommend doctors do and what doctors actually do are completely different.
This week we’re highlighting disparities between what the CDC recommends as guidelines for Lyme disease diagnosis and treatment and how the medical system actually handles potential and existing Lyme patients, acute and chronic. We’ll also touch on certain areas that greatly need to be updated when working with patients and diagnosing Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses.

What supplements do we suggest for IBS?
Outside of dietary changes, we commonly suggest Gluta Core, a NutriRestore product that is designed to promote the health and barrier function of the gastrointestinal (GI) lining. Its unique formula includes nutrients that support the gut mucosal epithelium. The purpose of the epithelium is to allow the digestion and absorption of dietary nutrients while keeping unwanted toxins, microbes and food particles from passing directly into the body.
Gluta Core includes a high dose of L-glutamine (4 g), which serves as nutrition for the gut lining. It provides 400 mg of deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract (DGL) and 75 mg of aloe vera extract, both of which protect and promote the health of the gut mucosa. It also contains N-acetyl glucosamine and zinc to boost GI integrity.
Gluta Core is available in a delicious vanilla flavor, which makes it more likely you will take it every day!

To start off our week of focusing on immune support, we're starting out with a classic: Vitamin C.
NutriRestore's Ultra C is a bit different than your regular vitamin C supplement. For starters, it comes in its natural form, l-ascorbate, which is fully reduced and buffered with calcium.
Ultra C Powder contains 100% l-ascorbate that is fully reduced and buffered with potassium, calcium, magnesium, and zinc.
Why should you take vitamin C?

🍋 Is an antioxidant that protects cells from damage
🍒 Promotes adrenal gland health
🌿 Boosts nitric oxide function
🍊 Is necessary for the repair of tissues within the body

Super HCL Pro is the supplement we suggest for addressing low stomach acid.
This product provides two essential components of healthy digestion: hydrochloric acid (HCl) and the digestive enzyme, pepsin.
Hydrochloric acid is vital for the proper digestion of protein and the absorption of vitamins and minerals (especially vitamin B12, calcium, magnesium, copper and zinc). HCl also plays an important role in signaling the pancreas to release digestive enzymes.
Pepsin is one of the first enzymes to initiate protein digestion and works in synergy with HCl to provide complete protein digestive support.
Do not use any HCL product like Super HCL Pro if you have a history of ulcers and/or gastritis or are taking any acid-reducing medication.

Happy Easter from all of us at NutriRestore!
Ultra C is a form of vitamin C in the L-ascorbate form that is extremely pure and bioavailable for our bodies to readily absorb and use.
Ultra C is effective at lowering the body’s burden of toxic minerals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, arsenic and nickel.
This action occurs by both decreasing the uptake of toxic minerals from the intestine and by increasing renal (kidney) and stool excretion of toxic minerals.
Through NutriRestore, you can choose it in tabsule or powder form. Click here to learn more and shop: https://nutrirestore.com/product/ultra-c/
You may be familiar with how important vitamin D is for your body to function well, but do you know about vitamin K?
❗️Emerging research highlights the importance of optimal intake of vitamin K and its critical role in maintaining bone and cardiovascular health.❗️
🦴 Composed of a group of naturally occurring and structurally similar, fat-soluble vitamins, vitamin K is required for the proper utilization of calcium and helps to bind newly absorbed calcium to the bone matrix.
🦴 Vitamin K helps maintain bone mineral density by decreasing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that break down bone.
❤️ It also provides critical cardiovascular protection by activating matrix Gla protein (MGP), a potent inhibitor of circulatory calcification.
Along with vitamin D, another key nutrient required for overall wellness, these two nutrients act in synergy to support and maintain bone and cardiovascular health.
NutriRestore's Vitamin D + K2 provides 180 mcg of MenaQ7 PRO, the most widely studied form of vitamin K2 as MK-7, along with 5,000 IU of vitamin D3 for optimal support of bone and cardiovascular health.

Is your chronic inflammation from mold toxicity?
Learn more about mold inflammation in this week's article: https://nutrirestore.com/mold-toxicity/
Mold Q&A
Q: Can you start detoxing while you’re still living in a moldy environment?
A: No! You will feel absolutely terrible and it will be a wasted effort as you are continually exposed to more mold. Your body needs a safe place to repair and recover.
How long does it take to do a mold detox?
First off, you MUST be out of any moldy environments. This includes workplaces, homes, etc.
Use a mold-binding product protocol for a minimum of 3-6 months.
Restest urine mold levels after 3-6 months on the protocol. If it's higher, that's okay. You are clearing out mold.
Continue the protocol and retest every 3-6 months until the test comes back clear.
Mold can cause problems in the following areas, and you may need to address these to heal:
Leaky gut
Hormonal abnormalities
Inflammation abnormalities
Brain abnormalities
“Mold.” It’s a word everyone dreads when they hear their home, workplace, or school is infected with it. It can start and spread quickly and unannounced. It can go under the radar for ages before it’s ever seen by the naked eye.
This week, we're focusing on how your chronic inflammation may be caused by mold toxicity, how mold can affect your health, how we test for it, and what your plan of action should be if mold is the culprit.
If you’re struggling with your health and are trying different protocols without experiencing any improvements, it may be time to look into mold/mycotoxin-induced illnesses.
