Mark’s energy and intensity is unparalleled and his workouts are demanding. He challenges you in a way you probably wouldn’t on your own, at least not consistently. At the same time he’s incredibly engaging, easy to talk to and be around. I’ve worked with and observed other trainers and Mark is truly on a different level.
Lindsay says:
When he says “Oh I bet…” as he pushes you to do rep 50 knowing full well you would have stopped at 20. Mark has high standards, and he makes you want to live up to them. Oh, and he’s silly. We have far too much fun during our sessions.

Mark, does not permit you to be average. It is extremely easy to be average. Mark pushes you to expend all of your energy and focus to make a better you, physically and mentally. Mark achieves this by understanding the individual and applying what he has learned through training himself and sharing it with his clients. Mark is involved with your workout, he just does not stand-by and bark what is next, he pushes you. He wants you to be your best self and better than ‘average.’💪

Training with Mark is the best!!! He has taught me so much and pushed me to do things I never thought I’d be able to do!! He celebrates my achievements with me and continues pushing me to keep going and try new things. I love that every time we train it’s always something different. It’s never been the same workout. I am able to take the things he teaches me and use them in my own workouts too. He has helped me with nutrition as well, and always checks to see what my goals are and how I feel about what we are doing. His energy and positivity help push me through all the hard workouts and they are 100% fun!!

The first thing that you need to do is set at time to come see me and discuss the why, the what, the how, and the bottom line. From that point we move forward and schedule workout days, and set markers throughout the course that we build. Movement, nutrition and hydration, sleep, and medical limitations if any, will be discussed. 💪🏽

His background includes being a D1 collegiate athlete, IFBB Pro male physiquer and record holder power lifter. 🏋🏻♂️

KayLynn has been training with Emily for a few years, doing both strength training and Pilates.
KayLynn has this to say about Emily:
“If I have to choose just one thing I like the most about training with Emily, its how HEARD I feel every sesh.
In previous training relationships, I was never asked how I was feeling, and if I mentioned something hurt, I was either ignored or told to push through it.
With Emily, her 1st question every sesh is “How does your body feel today?” If something hurts, we discuss it and come up with a modified plan if needed. If something starts to hurt DURING a workout, I know I can tell her about it and not feel like I am complaining or disappointing her. We address it immediately and either modify the lift or stop it completely.
It’s amazing to have a trainer that listens to me and works with me to address and alleviate pain!”
