He’s back! Minnesota Vikings star TJ Hockenson returns from injury this week, and he’s feeling the love from fans.
We surprised TJ with a stack of heartfelt letters from our Ready. Set. Send. campaign, and his reaction was priceless. Watch as TJ reads your words of encouragement, inspiring him ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
Show your support for TJ in the comments.
She’s stronger than ever after recovering from a torn ACL. Grace Bickett battled back from injury to become Orono High School’s all-time leader in assists, lead her team to its first state championship game, and fulfill her dream of playing D1 hockey.
We’re inspired by her perseverance and appreciate her trust in our care.
Our Waconia Grand Opening is going to be a real highlight.
Former Minnesota Vikings star Ben Leber is our Guest of Honor and will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM.
The event is free, open to the public, and packed with fun activities for the entire family. Visit TCOmn.com/NewWaconia for more info.
Facing uncertainty after a mastectomy, Amber turned to our Breast Health program for support.
“I recently had a preventative mastectomy due to being at high risk for breast cancer. After the surgery, my team recommended that I start physical therapy with Renata Braudy.
My situation was not the norm, so I was worried about how it would go. Immediately after meeting Renata, I knew I was in great hands. It was evident that she not only had a ton of knowledge but also a passion for taking care of women post-mastectomy.
What stood out to me was Renata’s ability to not only treat my symptoms but also explain the underlying causes, empowering me with knowledge about my body. She developed a plan that was specific to my goals and always valued my input. This personalized plan helped me regain strength and mobility, and I was able to get back into the gym and lift weights just as heavy (and even heavier!) than I was before surgery.
I’m forever grateful for the role Renata played in my recovery.”

Nancy’s battle with breast cancer took a toll on her body, but our Breast Health program has helped her restore her quality of life.
“TCO therapist, Ingrid Weddig, has been instrumental in helping me maintain optimal health and full physical movement in my arm following the onset of lymphedema. This occurred after my cancer treatment when over 26 lymph nodes were removed, and I received radiation.
The therapy with Ingrid helped keep my lymphatic pain and inflammation manageable. Her positivity, energy, and can-do spirit have helped tremendously as well. I can’t thank TCO and Ingrid enough.”

After trusting TCO for multiple procedures, Gail is enjoying an active life at 70 years old. From long walks to riding her bike again, Gail is grateful for the incredible care she has received.
“I have been going to Twin Cities Orthopedics for around 18 years. Dr. TJ Panek repaired both of my rotator cuffs in 2006, and my shoulders have been as good as new ever since. I have not had any problems.
I then had a total knee replacement one year ago. It was a great success. My physical therapists at TCO Vadnais Heights were amazing. They were extremely caring and informational. My knee is doing fantastic.
In addition, I’ve had successful hand and elbow surgeries with Dr. Nicholas Meyer and foot surgery with Dr. Troy Vargas.
What I love about TCO is that every surgeon I’ve encountered doesn’t jump right into surgery. We try other methods along with physical therapy first.
I’ve recommended TCO to many friends throughout the years and even my grandchildren have been treated there. They are simply the best.”

With a pause in the action, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the unforgettable moments that make Minnesota Vikings football so special. We asked fans to Ready. Set. Send. us their favorite memories, and the result is pure nostalgia.
Enjoy this trip down memory lane, and share your favorite moment from our partner’s past in the comments.
Gold and silver medals. Her husband and daughter in the stands. Mallory Weggemann's Paris Paralympics journey was all about family, love, and grit. We caught up with the TCO and Training HAUS athlete to reflect on the moments that made it unforgettable.
Q: What are you most proud of?
A: I stayed true to what was most important to me and my family, and I didn't waiver. These Paralympic Games were about doing it our way and leading with love. We did that every turn, and I am so proud of us for staying true and not allowing the pressure to break that down.
Q: What was the biggest challenge you encountered?
A: The biggest challenge was figuring out how I was going to navigate the logistics of being a breastfeeding mom at a Paralympic Games. Ultimately, we decided to stay true to what got us to Paris in the first place, doing it as a family. When the Games began, I moved into a hotel to be with my husband and daughter, and I am so grateful we did. I got to cherish the quiet moments like nursing my daughter when she woke up in the morning, even on race days, and that helped me stay grounded.
Q: What was the biggest surprise?
A: Honestly, I didn't have any. These Games truly went as planned, and I think that is a credit to how intentional we were in our preparation.
From post-mastectomy pain syndrome to lymphedema, life after breast cancer was an ongoing struggle for Beth. However, with the support of our Breast Health Program, her healing journey finally began.
“Hearing you have Breast Cancer are not the words you dream of as a little girl. When you hear those words, you have no idea how your life will change, and the battle you will be in. You're frightened. You think about your family. Suddenly, you realize you need to find your armor. Find your battle cry. It is different for each of us but the need for endurance and resilience finds us all.
I was diagnosed with two different types of cancer, both aggressive. I had two years of treatment that included chemotherapy, surgeries, and radiation. Then began life after the treatment.
I have post-mastectomy pain syndrome, radiation damage, lymphedema, scar management, and strength and flexibility issues. I started my therapy journey with a generally trained therapist. I had measurements taken with very general and soft touch therapy. It just wasn’t enough. My oncologist suggested I see Ingrid Weddig with TCO’s Breast Health Program.
She was trained specifically to deal with breast cancer patients and their needs. I am so grateful I drove 40 miles to see her. Her training has allowed me to heal and strengthen my body. She has helped me tailor an exercise routine in the gym and a stretching routine at home. She is so dedicated and passionate about helping women and letting them know how to heal and live their best life post-cancer.
Kudos and much gratitude to you Ingrid, and many thanks to TCO for building this specialty out. I am thrilled it is now an offering for patients. No one should have to walk this path alone. There are trained professionals that can customize treatment plan to your needs and improve your life.”

Stillwater football player saved by AED after going into cardiac arrest A 16-year-old Stillwater football player is grateful to be alive after a life-saving AED intervention during practice.
A new hip has John feeling recharged at 82 years old. This avid pickleball player recently qualified for the 2025 National Senior Games.
“For most of my life, I’ve been physically active participating in wrestling (high school and college), tennis, racquetball, and most recently, pickleball.
Unfortunately, by 2023 my lift hip had become very painful. It prevented me from completing daily activities as well as playing pickleball.
A friend referred me to Dr. Scott Anseth at TCO. A visit to his clinic confirmed my left hip needed to be replaced. The thought of major surgery was very daunting and frightening.
Fortunately, Dr. Anseth and his medical team helped allay my fears by clearly explaining the pre and post operative process.
In August of 2023, Dr. Anseth replaced my left hip. The next day at 7:30 AM Dr. Anseth was at my bedside explaining the success of the procedure and what to expect in recovery. The nurses during my overnight stay were very professional and encouraging.
My recovery has allowed me to continue my intense participation in pickleball. This past August, I won gold medals in doubles and singles at the Minnesota Senior Games in Saint Cloud. I love winning! My motto is “fun/won.”
Thank you, Dr. Anseth and everyone at TCO, for restoring my active lifestyle.”

Five years of pain led Kari to TCO for quick access to rheumatology care.
“Dr. Paul Sufka is simply amazing. He really took the bull by the horns and looked at all the testing I had from numerous other clinics. Dr. Sufka was the first person to even offer a diagnosis.
We started on the first treatment and within a month, and I felt remarkably better. While my disease ebbs and flows, Dr. Sufka has always been able to suggest different ways to help me live my best life. When I call and explain what is going on, I am always able to get in and see him quickly. Dr. Sufka takes plenty of time to talk through issues, listens intently, and I have never felt rushed or unable to ask questions. Besides being a great physician, he is an all-around good guy.”
Life after undergoing a total ankle replacement through our EXCEL Surgery & Recovery program has been full of new adventures for Mark, including his first-ever trip to the Boundary Waters.
“The route we took is considered one of the more difficult routes, and we conquered it!
I was beat up and tired. My 63-year-old body was exhausted, but my brand-new ankle felt amazing. I could not have taken this trip last summer due to the pain and inflammation in my old, worn-out ankle.
I can’t thank Dr. Jeffrey Seybold enough. He was amazing, and so was the physical therapy at TCO.
I’m already making plans for another Boundary Waters trip next year.”
