Shark Week has us thinking about Shark Teeth! 🦈🦷 Has your child suddenly grown a second row of teeth? This is completely normal and called Shark Teeth.

Some things to know about Shark Teeth:
🦈 They occur when a child’s permanent teeth emerge behind baby teeth that have not yet fallen out, resulting in a second row of teeth.
🦈Typically occur between ages 5-7 and without symptoms. If your child is experiencing extreme discomfort, please give us a call.
🦈Shark teeth should resolve on their own once the baby teeth have fallen out. Encourage your child to wiggle their loose baby teeth to help them fall out and brush/floss their shark teeth.
