With all group activities stopped, Neil from the UK shared with me some ideas he sent to his students for how they may continue their practice. One immediately popped as a potential match for Mel. Shadow Aikido! Performing the movements of Aikido techniques with an imaginary Uke. Oh… imagining the biggest, strongest and meanest Uke in the dojo, the one that always blocks you, and teaching him a lesson!!!

Who doesn't want to be a black belt ...? Knowing that you hold power in your body with which to defend yourself and your loved ones. It's a beautiful thing -and it's within reach - but it takes action today. Training starts whenever YOU decide it's what you want. 💪🏽

We have children's classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:30. Read below about why aikido is a great activity for children from ages 4 and up!
