We are proud to announce that we have established an official Junior Firefighter Program. Teens must be 14 years of age to apply and have completed the 8th grade. Parents if your child is interested in applying please stop by on Wednesday nights at 7PM

Sand bags to be given to Pct 4 residents and businesses Friday July 5th at the Veterans Park in Linn San Manuel. Take a shovel! Bags and sand provided.

With the excessive heat and summer here please please please hydrate!

Just east of Linn San Manuel we have A national refuge, “La Sal Del Rey”. Fire crews have already began conducting rescues for heat exhaustion and heat strokes at the refuge. It is very important that visitors hydrate well the day before and take plenty of water! A single water bottle is not sufficient for the trail. We recommend a camel pack or a gallon of water.

If you are feeling weak take a break in a shaded area and if you feel like you need assistance call 911.

Linn San Manuel Community. We are in need of your assistance. As you all may know our firefighters fought a Structure fire on Wednesday afternoon. The home was a total loss and this family lost everything they had. We are looking for Men's clothes.

There will be an outage tonight for 2 McCook substations. The outage should last 4 hrs.; however the last time that AEP took this same drop it only lasted about 2.5 hrs. The outage is scheduled to take place at midnight. Please feel free to spread the word.

Every year we receive financial assistance from the LSMCIC, and we are so appreciative of their support but as we all know and have experienced, prices have increased and last year we were not able to purchase enough goodies for the kiddos of Linn San Manuel. We would love to see if our community is willing to donate bags of candy or snack items, to help fill Santa's goodie bags? Mark your calendars! Jan. 20, 2024 we'll be hosting our annual s***t shoot! As of 2024 this will be our only fundraiser!
