Spring Hours: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. – March 13, 2022 – March 31, 2022
Summer Hours: 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m. – April 1, 2022 – September 6, 2022
Fall Hours: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. – September 7, 2022 – November 7, 2022

Our Summer hours start tomorrow! From April 1st until September 6th, Airplane Park will be open daily from 8am to 8:30pm! We are beginning to get some beautiful weather in the area - so don't let the spring and summer slip by without heading to the park!

Starting today, park hours have been extended for Spring! Airplane Park will now operate from 8am-7pm everyday until the summer hours begin in April!
We hope to be getting some beautiful weather after next week, so it will be the perfect time to take the family out for a day at the park!

Coming to Edwardsville Township Community Park on October 16th!
Edwardsville Township is excited to announce the return of our Annual Touch-A-Truck!
Over the past six years, this FREE community event has given area families and children the opportunity to explore and learn about various vehicles they see everyday, as well as some that are rarely accessible. In past years, Touch-A-Truck has hosted more than 30 vehicles of various purposes (fire trucks, farm equipment, utility vehicles, transit busses, etc.) and has welcomed thousands of guests.
After the unexpected cancellation of last year's event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are looking forward to this chance to bring the community together again and even teach about many of the vehicles and jobs of the first responders and frontline workers that have served our community tirelessly throughout this past year.
The 7th annual Touch-A-Truck is scheduled to take place on October 16th at Edwardsville Township Community Park from 10am- 2pm. We hope to see you there!
UPDATE: The tennis/pickleball courts at Edwardsville Township Community Park have been resurfaced and are ready to be used!

Effective Monday, July 20, 2020 - Edwardsville Township Supervisor Fred Schulte and the Edwardsville Township Board of Trustees have announced Edwardsville Township Community Park is reopen with special rules to help keep the community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Special rules to ensure proper social distancing and encourage extra precautions will be in place during the foreseeable future through Phase 4 of Illinois’ Phase 4 pandemic plan. We are happy to report Edwardsville Township offices are now open to the public for regular business during normal hours: 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Social distancing measures are in place. We ask that you wear a face mask or covering upon entering the facility.
Please note, Friday, July 3 is a holiday and the offices will be closed in observance of Independence Day.

ATTENTION: Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, Edwardsville Township Community Park will be closed until further notice due to COVID-19 pandemic concerns, calls from federal, state, and county government for social distancing, and to proactively ensure the health and safety of the region.
Good afternoon, there was a previous issue involving a water main break near the park. It has since been resolved, the park will have functional bathrooms this weekend.
ATTENTION PARK GUESTS: Water service will be turned off at the Park for maintenance Thursday, March 5 and possibly Friday, March 6. We will update you as soon as service is restored.

Edwardsville Township Community Park (also known as Supervisor Robert C. Stille Edwardsville Township Airplane Community Park, named in Supervisor Robert Stille’s honor upon his death) has been open to the public for more than three decades.
This 25 acre park features three playgrounds (including a state-of-the-art persons-with-disabilities accessible Boundless Playground), eight pavilions, four tennis/pickle ball courts, and an inline skating rink.
Edwardsville Township offers pavilions and facilities located in Edwardsville Township Community Park for the use of the general public. Reservations must be made in advance at the Township Office located at:
