Wagman Studio Ceramics
Wagman Studio is an all inclusive ceramics studio that will conduct varying clay classes for kids an It is now our turn to carry on the Wagman Studio name.
Wagman Studio officially began with my Father and Grandfather in the 1950's. We over the past year Miranda and I have been exploring a new combined, version of our work. The functional work is thrown on the potters wheel, some pieces remain round and others are altered squared. Because our work is handmade and carved/glazed each pot is unique with its own personality and we hope you enjoy using them as much as we love to create them. All of the work is Microwave, Oven, and Dishwasher safe.
As another school year comes to an end, so begins another exciting summer at Wagman Studio. Do you have a young creative that wants to learn the magical experience of working on the potters wheel?
We have a few spots left and can’t wait for summer to begin.
Feel free to message us, call or text with any questions.

Meet Evan Wagman, a ceramic artist and educator from New Jersey, established himself in the vibrant arts community in Edwardsville,
IL. Wagman studio offers classes and party options for students of all ages, providing them the opportunity to explore their creative potential. Evan’s journey as a ceramic artist has taken him around the world, allowing him to immerse himself in diverse cultures
and artistic traditions. Wagman holds an undergraduate degree from Rider University in Sociology and Psychology, a master's in fine arts with a focus in ceramics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, with a continued desire to further his investigations
connecting familial gatherings through altered and refined functional pottery, while simultaneously developing an abstracted sculptural body of work. Which creates a narrative of unseen emotions resulting from exposure to internal and external influences and
pressures. The work becomes a personal ideation and cataloging of emotion. In recent years, Wagman is an alum of craft alliances artist in residence program, former education manager at the Foundry Art Centre and Most recently has joined the staff at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School in St. Louis as a Fine Arts instructor. Where he simultaneously completed his Master of
Education from Saint Louis University. He enjoys the opportunity given to him to guide young artists of tomorrow in discovering and articulating their conceptual thinking through various mediums.
