Spring Time Hair Care Tips 🙌🏼
1. Do not shampoo your hair every day, as this can strip your hair dry of natural oils. Instead, use a natural bristle brush and brush your hair well daily. Brushing distributes the oils from the roots to the ends of your hair and keeps your scalp less oily.
2. Comb out your tresses before taking a shower because combing before a shower reduces hair breakage. Use only lukewarm temperature water to wash your hair. Hot water can leave your hair dry and faded color.
3. Go for a trim as this is the best way to get rid of dry and split ends.
4. Try sponge rollers to curl your hair instead of heated rollers, which can cause damage. Put on sponge rollers before going to bed. This old-fashioned way gives you lovely curls in the morning, minus any hair damage.
5. Condition your hair before a swim. Spring weather is for outdoors and water fun, but swimming pool chemicals can wreak havoc on your mane. Coat it with conditioner to prevent chlorine from stepping into the hair strands.
