Meet Cookie Lee Leandra! This stunning calico beauty is just over a year old and has a heart as golden as her gorgeous coat. Cookie Lee is the perfect blend of sweetness and s***k, with a confidence that shines through from the moment you meet her.

Cookie Lee came into our care when her previous owners had to move out of the country and, sadly, couldn't take her along. Despite the change, Cookie has remained as outgoing and friendly as ever. She adores meeting new people and isn’t shy about showing her affection—if you pet her long enough, she might even give you a gentle love nibble!

Although Cookie Lee grew up as a solo kitty, she’s open to making new feline friends. We believe she would thrive in a home with other cats to keep her company.

Stormy is a sweet and gentle kitty with a carefree attitude. She enjoys lounging in a cozy cat bed or relaxing on a cat tree, content to mind her own business. Stormy is a calm and relaxed cat, making her perfect for a quieter household.

Stormy prefers to be the only pet in the home, as she doesn't get along well with other cats or dogs. She's happiest with a few toys and a comfortable cat tree to call her own. Once she warms up to you, Stormy is incredibly affectionate and loves being petted. If you're looking for a serene and loving companion, Stormy is the perfect choice!

Meet Molly, a sweet and mellow feline around two years old, who is ready to find her forever home. Molly is incredibly cuddly with humans and enjoys the company of strangers without any hesitation. Her confident nature has been evident since she first arrived at the shelter.

Molly would thrive as the only pet in your household, as she doesn't get along well with other cats. She was found in a feral community and brought to us due to her preference for solo living. This special girl has been through a lot and deserves a loving family to call her own.

Meet Gizmo, a delightful three-year-old with a curious and vivacious spirit. Gizmo is incredibly sociable and starts purring the moment you glance her way—she truly loves people! Beyond her endearing personality, she’s a stunner, with big green eyes and an irresistibly charming face that will capture your heart.

Despite her youthful age, Gizmo prefers the laid-back lifestyle, spending much of her time lounging and indulging in lengthy naps—just like the rest of us! She's a bit of a homebody who would thrive best as the only cat in her new home, as she has grown accustomed to having all the attention to herself.

Meet Peanut Rancho! Peanut has been an adoptable cat here for a little while after being transferred from another shelter as she wasn’t adjusting well to the more individualised setup they had there. She’s doing well in our shelter despite not being a big fan of other cats! She does tend to be quite defensive of her territory so we think she’d make a great solo cat, but she needs a lot of stimulation and a fair amount of patience. She’s a sweet girl but occasionally gets nippy when she’s frustrated (like when she wants out of the room for example - no Peanut, you’re not allowed to wander amongst the office cats!)
If you’re looking for an independent, clever, single cat who you don’t mind giving space to and maybe enduring a little nip or a swipe every now and again, Peanut would be a great choice!

Meet Mama Hollister, a gentle and loving two-year-old cat. She and her two kittens, Abercrombie & Fitch, were rescued from a garden and brought to our shelter, where they await their forever homes. Initially shy, Mama Hollister soon reveals her unmatched loyalty once she's comfortable. She enjoys her independence and loves to sunbathe on the catio. Preferring a quiet environment, she would do best in a home with a single owner and no other cats, as she can be a bit temperamental around them. Mama Hollister is a wonderful companion who might just be the perfect addition to your home!

Meet Mama Speedy – Mama Speedy is an extremely sweet and affectionate two-year-old waiting for her new forever home. Mama is not the most social girl in the bunch, she likes to be approached slowly and gently. Once she feels comfortable, she is friendliest girl ever. She loves to give head butts and cuddle up next to you. Mama Speedy loves people, but is not the biggest fan of other cats. She got pregnant when she was only a kitten herself, so she can feel a little threatened by other cats. Mama Speedy would be the happiest in a household all by herself, so she doesn’t have to get stressed out by other felines. Mama Sandal is a one-year-old, black & white kitty who was brought to the shelter with her 4 kittens. She's sweet and loving, always seeking attention and will make a GREAT companion for any family. Friends of Cats, Inc. will have their booth next to the entrance to Reading Cinemas on Saturday.

Molly & Kipper are a bonded pair of 2.5 year old Cavapoos! Sweet, house-trained, crate-trained, and they get along with EVERYBODY! Come meet all the adorable dogs from Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue right outside of Bath & Body Works on Saturday.

Happy is a sweet and resilient puppy that had a neck injury from being chained, but she remains a beacon of joy and affection. She'll never leave your side, and will adapt to a new environment whether it be bustling or peaceful. Come find out more about Happy and her story at Furballs FURever Rescue booth just outside of Macy's.

Spike from Chihuahua Rescue of San Diego County is a 7-year-old, 5-pound, chocolate and tan Chihuahua Gentleman. He likes other small dogs and enjoys a brisk, rambling walk and soft, yummy food. Toys are beneath him, but he does enjoy some TLC. Come meet a selection of Chihuahuas at their booth in front of Reading Cinemas on Saturday.

Harley is actually a Husky/Malamute mix, and he's 3-years-old, extremely loving and friendly, and he may be JUST what your Dad is hoping for this PAWther's Day! Come by and meet thedetommasodogs at their booth in the Walmart corridor of the mall.

Meet Mija, a beautiful and affectionate 8-month-old kitten with a heart of gold. Mija possesses a sweet personality and thrives on attention, though she may show a touch of independence until she becomes comfortable. She loves spending her time on a cat tree or napping in a cozy bed. Mija arrived at the shelter with two siblings and gets along wonderfully with other cats. If you have a pet at home, she would make a delightful addition to your family. With her striking two-toned coat and undeniable charm, she’s ready to win your heart!
