H&J's Restaurant updated their business hours.

Starting this week, we'll be extending our days of service to include Wednesday. Thank you and we hope to see you all this week!

We will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve but will be closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day.

We appreciate your ongoing support through this holiday season and hope you are all staying safe!

We will be closed next Thursday and Friday (11/25-11/26). We are thankful for your support! Have a safe Thanksgiving!

As per Contra Costa County policy, starting Wednesday 9/22, please note that we will be required to ask for proof of vaccination or a negative test result for INDOOR DINING. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Good morning Community! We will be open this Thursday-Sunday for take-out between the hours of 8:30am-1:30pm. We will be closed 12/24-12/27 for the holiday! Thank you all for your support thus far!

In accordance with Contra Costa County's recent announcement on December 4, we will continue to have our outdoor seating available until this Sunday, December 6. After this weekend, we will remain open for take out orders only and hope to have your continued support during this time

With the recent changes in Contra Costa County Tiers, we are no longer allowed to have our indoor seating option. However, we are still able to provide our Outdoor dining as well as Takeout orders! Outdoor dining seats will continue to follow CDC requirements and we are asking all patrons to use hand sanitizer upon entering the seating area. As always, we ask that you keep your masks on over your nose and mouth unless you are eating or drinking.

The weather sure has gotten colder! As we figure out how to make outdoor dining a more comfortable experience, we are now offering limited indoor dining as well! Seating is still first come first serve. Takeout is always an available option.

Just as a reminder, we have been serving Lunch on Thursdays and Fridays from 11:00am until closing. Check out our current lunch options on the H&J website. (https://www.hjsrestaurant.com/lunch)

Hello everyone, we hope you have all been staying safe and healthy during this time.

It has been awhile since our last update, but we want to announce that we are making preparations to reopen once more.

Starting on October 8, 2020 our service hours will be from 8:30am-1:30pm, Thursdays-Sundays and serving breakfast only. We will be taking togo orders and rolling out our outdoor dining services right in our parking lot area (hopefully the weather allows it though)! Please note that with this new set-up, the Orchard Street entrance will be closed to keep our dining area safe (see image below).

Health safety is a top priority and we are following the guidelines to make sure we can provide a safe and comfortable experience for our workers and customers during this time. We graciously thank you for your patience and support as we ramp back up. All the staff at H&J’s Restaurant looks forward to serving you soon!

We are sad to say that we will be closing for now due to the current health situation. We have been following all CDC recommendations in terms of cleaning and sanitizing and are hoping to be able to offer To-Go Orders soon to help support our community in this time. We will let you all know if and when Take-Out orders will be available. Thank you for all your support thus far, we hope to continue receiving your support during and after this time!
