History
Established in 2018.
We are a family owned business and have been in the industry for over 20 years! Maria's Tamales have been in existence for decades and is a part of a legacy that has been passed down from generation to generation. Come try some for yourself!
Meet the Business Owner: Maria C.
Maria, owner and founder of Cafe Tizon, has always had a passion for cooking. From working alongside her father in the kitchen to glorifying a family recipe of Tamales, Maria's passion for cooking has led to the successful upbringing of her business. As a pastime she began catering and has continued to do so for over a decade, and has been selling at the La Puente Live Farmers Market every week as a form of community involvement. We hope to see you soon, and that you'll try our Famous Rico-Rico Tamalito!
