Security guards to be allowed to carry guns on New Mexico community college campus After a 5-0 vote, some Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Community College security guards will be allowed to carry guns.

Felonies are violent or serious crimes that are committed when U.S. law is broken. A felony is punishable by a hefty fine, more than one year in prison, or death.

Our is misdemeanor.

A misdemeanor is a nonviolent crime committed most often under state or municipal law. A misdemeanor offense is the most common offense a security officer might see in the field.

We provided services at Ponder Park yesterday and are amazed by the outpouring of love our community has. We are honored to serve this community.

Without a last week, we are adding a second for today: robbery.

Robbery is theft by physical or verbal force. This crime pertains mostly to individuals, with one individual forcefully stealing from another.

Our is burglary.

Burglary is a crime, typically planned beforehand, that carries a high potential for profit and asset loss for a business or a home. Security service during the nighttime could be an effective approach to preventing such acts.

UPCOMING CLOSURE: Cross-town traffic is encouraged to use Loop 375 (Transmountain Road) on Sunday, August 11, to avoid a 27-hour, complete closure of Interstate 10 in both directions at US 54 in Central El Paso.

Our Vitalant center in El Paso has sent 90 units of blood to one of the hospitals treating the Walmart shooting victims. Our staff are also in contact with several other hospitals that are requesting additional blood.

We are extending our center hours at all three of our locations (Mesa Hills, Zaragosa and Las Cruces) today until 5 and Mesa Hills and Zaragosa tomorrow from 8 AM to 5 PM.(We have cancelled the El Paso Battle of the Badges Blood Drive which was being conducted today at the Mall.) If you cannot donate today or tomorrow, we STRONGLY encourage you to make an appointment for this coming week and the next. Blood needs will continue and having the supply spread out will ensure that there is blood on hand, ready and waiting, when and where patients need it.
