Col. Chris Henderson, Canadian Military Attaché and CWO Jim Smith, Sergeant Major Canadian Army, presented the "Chief of Defense Staff Commendation" to CWO Martin Tolton a member of Sergeants Major Class (SMC) 74. Also present was CWO Ron Sellers, an SMC 74 graduate.

Tolton was recognized for his contribution in leading the ceremonial aspects of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral parade in the Canadian capital of Ottawa in September 2022.

Sergeant Major of the Italian Army, Michele Romano, visited the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence where he was greeted by Commandant, Command Sgt. Maj. Tammy Everette and sat in on the command brief. He visited Italian Soldiers serving as instructors at the Sergeants Major Academy.

Maj. Gen. Jung Deong-Sung and Command Sgt. Maj. Kang Min-Woo from the Republic of Korea Army NCO Academy visited the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence where they were given a command brief and exchanged gifts.

NCO Leadership Center of Excellence Commandant, Command Sgt. Maj. Tammy Everette threw out the first pitch at the El Paso Chihuahuas baseball game on 7 June. The game was attended by some members of Sergeants Major Course Class 74 and their families as the Chihuahuas took on the Las Vegas Aviators.

Today NCO Leadership Center of Excellence Commandant Command Sgt. Maj. Tammy Everette and Deputy Commandant Command Sgt. Maj. Patrick Thomas led a command run with the students of Sergeants Major Course Class 74. The run was part of the final week of events before Class 74 graduates and departs the NCOLCoE to take on leadership roles worldwide.

Lt. Gen. Milford Beagle, commanding general of the Combined Arms Center, visited the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence where he spoke to Sergeants Major Course Class 74, received command briefing from the Commandant and select staff, and toured the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence and Sergeants Major Academy. Prior to departing the organization, he presented coins to staff members in acknowledgment of their accomplishments.

Today Brig. Gen. Karl Harris the Director, Land Command and Staff College from the United Kingdom visited the NCO Leadership Center of Excellence (NCOLCoE) where he spoke with the Deputy Commandant and representatives from the Division of Curriculum Development. Also visiting the NCOLCoE was Command Sgt. Maj. Brian Hester of Army Futures Command who spoke to Sergeants Major Class 74 about the role of Futures Command in building the Army of 2030.
