TESTING WEEK IS UPON US!🔥📈
As an athlete, it is important to track performance by testing quarterly throughout the year!!
Data tracking allows us as coaches to program our athletes based off their results to work towards progression through out the year.
With the implementation of a series of tests, we can help the athlete see where they stand in their athletic performance and help to improve on their weak points.

Niky is a talented Flag football player who puts in the time and effort to work on her athleticism in the Gym and on the Field 🏈
As Flag Football for Women gains more attention in the City of El Paso, Niky is a clear example of what it takes to be an example for girls who want to participate in what used to be a male dominant sport.
While she continues to perform on the field , she still makes the time to work on her craft in the gym 💪

At Fyzical Athletics, we offer recovery days where we prioritize implementing exercise to help the athlete recover and prepare for their upcoming training sessions or games 🏀
We offer active recovery days, prehab/rehab exercises , mobility and flexibility stretches and normatec compression technology to help promote blood flow and reduce soreness.
This is beneficial for our in-season athletes who practice at school and participate in games 🏈

As strength and conditioning specialist , we believe exercise go further than just a workout program.
In our internship program, we take students who are pursuing careers in physical therapy , athletic training , strength and conditioning , and even nutrition to help them learn the importance of exercise prescription and how it can apply to their respective fields .
We provide educational meetings, workshops , and hands on internship hours to help develop their skills and gain experience.

In-season programs not only compliments their current weight program at school, but it allows our athlete to stay healthy, progress and get ahead of the competition during their season.

This past weekend , Strength Through Movement and Fyzical Athletics held a workshop to educate our trainers and interns on the different methods of Strength and conditioning programing.
We believe it is important to continue our education and provide workshops for our interns who are partaking in our internship program to give them the most experience before they head out into their future careers.
With the diverse population of athletes and clients we have in our program , It is important for us to learn how to program based off their specific needs 💪

With school sport programs starting soon, we want to educate you on the importance of in-season training!
While you developed your strength and endurance in the off-season, it is important to still maintain and build on the hard work you put in prior to your season.
In-season training consists of plyometric workouts to maintain and build athleticism, low volume - high intensity weight lifting to maintain strength , and recovery exercises to aid in faster recovery and prevent risk of injury .
Training doesn’t always have to be hard and intense! As an elite athlete , you always have something to work on 🏆

Fyzical Athletics is now taking interns for the upcoming fall semester !
We provide internship opportunities to any college students looking to get accredited hours in a strength and conditioning and exercise science field 🏋️♀️
This internship provides hands on experience working with clientele of all ages and backgrounds. As an intern, you will learn proper coaching qualities, learn the science behind workouts and learn how to develop a strength and conditioning plan that caters to our athletes/clients.

Get to know a bit about Thalia ⬇️:
I have been in the strength and conditioning field for 7 years. I have worked with a wide variety of people, ranging from; young athletes, college athletes, general population, geriatric population, and most recently the tactical population.
I currently work in Fort Bliss as a strength and conditioning coach.
On my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as my 3 dogs. I also enjoy playing flag football every Sunday, where I play on a all women’s and Coed team.

Steph is a hard working athlete when it comes to the Gym and the golf course. Many times Steph has won in her division and placed for many showcases in the golfing sport .
