Eastwood Park (Album Park) received 1st Place Parks in El Paso Inc.’s Best of El Paso for 2023! The 47-acre park nestled in the Album neighborhood features open parkland space, walking/running trail around the park, fields and courts, playground, skatepark, and a recreation center. A big thank you to our Parks Maintenance Team who take care of Eastwood Park year-round and completed significant improvements this year to include repainted ramps and canopies at the skate park, repainted tables and benches, resurfaced outdoor basketball courts, new benches added to the basketball and tennis courts, 6 brand new tables including an ADA table installed and 8 new mitt mitt stations. Make sure to give them a big if you see them at park! This year, Eastwood Park was home to several community events including the Live Active EP 3-year anniversary and a location for the 150th Anniversary Music at the Park series. Did you hear? Our Parks and Recreation’s Lost Dog Trailhead recently got voted @elpasoinc Best of El Paso 1st Place Bike Trail and 2nd Place Hiking Trail! The trail located in West El Paso at Redd and Helen of Troy offers an amazing trailhead route perfect for hiking and biking with the best of views of our mountains. Route is beginner friendly to intermediate depending on the length. A big shoutout to our parks planning and parks team that help maintain the trail! #iamelpaso #lostdogtrailhead #hiking #biketrail
