Meet the Lugos! Josue “Juice” serves as our Minister of Music. Additionally, Juice and his bride, Jade are MC Leaders. They are also expecting baby number dos, God is great!
Their favorite thing about MCs: “Having a set time for fellowship in the midst of a busy schedule. Given our current stage of life, we don’t get many opportunities to spontaneously meet with people, but to have this built in time in our schedule allows us to consistently have a time to grow in intimacy with our community in an intentional way. “

We prayed over the sweet Kimbers at our Tuesday MC and shared a sweet meal together as a family. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare to head to their new home in Korea. You will be missed but we can’t wait to see your updates as your venture off in your new country.

We are excited to have our first deacons installed at the Anchor. Thank you, Austin and Julie for being obedient to our Lord’s commands and for serving our church body wholeheartedly. The result of having deacons is mentioned in
Acts 6:7 -and the word of God continue to increase, and the number of disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and many of the priests became obedient to the faith.
Acts 6:1 - 6 tells the need for the deacons. In short, deacons are needed to help with practical physical urgent matters so that the gospel is continued to be proclaimed.
We say, “see you later” to yet another sweet family. Waldron family, you are cherished and you will be be greatly missed. Thank you for your friendship, your passion for children’s ministry and leadership. Your love for Christ sees no bounds and it is evident in your Christlike service for your brothers and sisters and genuine love for people.
We pray over your family as you head off to a new state and begin a new and exciting season in your lives. God bless you all and we love you.
