I reached the point where I need to vent. Everyone knows I’m obsessed with aviation. We use our plane for fun and for work. We’ve worked hard to get to a point where I can afford that. I take personal offense to being singled out as a targeted audience.

Ended week on a great note. Louis Elias Lopez and Monica Benjamin were a fabulous team. We got an acquittal on Counts 1, 2 and 3. Client made a hard choice and did not testify, nor ask for lesser. Held State to its burden. Jury said not today!

Had a productive day today. Traveled from El Paso to Alpine, to Crane, to Pecos and back. Crane is an interesting place, but that's where the work is...Left house at 5:30 and got back by 4:30, driving that distance alone would have been 10 hours according to google.

Turnover order?
What is a turnover order- its the government "stealing" your money. In the screen shot below, a defendant (not my client) is not following my normal advice to clients. Do not store large amounts of money in your trust account. The government will come and take it. In this case the government has asked to take over half of the $4162.
