Dillinger’s Bar, under the Gardner Hotel
John Dillinger is known as one of the most “celebrated” bank robbers in US History.. during his outlaw days, hiding from the FBI, he and his crew came to El Paso and chose the Gardner Hotel for their stay.
The room Dillinger chose is the room in the corner above the now Dillinger’s Bar. The name was chosen as the bar holds a deep historical ambiance reminiscent of the times when John and his crew walked the very streets you will walk to find the door leading to Dillinger’s.
One simple door at 303 E. Franklin with a staircase leading downstairs, is the passage you must take to Discover Dillinger’s, where it’s different Downstairs!
