Today is a special day. We met when she was ten years old , where she was bravely battling leukemia. Fast forward to today and she just walked the stage graduating with a BA in Criminal Justice and a minor in Forensics. We are so proud of her resiliency and all that she has accomplished. We can’t wait to see what she does in this next chapter of her life. 🧡

As we honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we have the privilege to partner with to share the story of the beautiful Cisneros Family. Their son Adrian (pictured in the first slide) is designing a special poster to honor his late brother Alex at the final home game on October 4th.
We met this incredible family fifteen years ago when their son Alex (pictured in the second slide) was diagnosed with leukemia and he took part of our program - Project AIM.
Sadly, Alex lost his battle with leukemia in 2012, but his light continues to shine so bright. His brother Adrian has been in our program for ten years and his parents have selflessly volunteered their time every Saturday at the gallery for over fifteen years as they say they feel Alex’s presence.
We continue to live by Alex’s famous quote -
“In life, as in painting, there are no negative spaces". 💛
We were honored to host United Ways of Texas President and CEO - Tiffany Paterson and United Way of El Paso County COO - Georgina Hernandez at the gallery this week. They were able to see work and the impact that our Resiliency Art Program in partnership with .frc is making in our community.
Little Amal takes her first steps in Boston to start her 6,000 mile journey across America in 15 days!

Together we will amplify her message through her incredible journey, empowering the voices of those she represents. We can’t wait to welcome Little Amal to our city and spread hope!
