Don’t miss this unique opportunity and precious moment of dua at the time of completion of the most authentic book after the Quran Kareem, the renowned Bukhari Shareef.

The Maqra'a (full Hadīth recital) of Sahīh al-Bukhāri at IIE has brought together dedicated 'Ulamā/students from around the globe. Approximately 40 participants have gathered in person, with an additional 45 joining online from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and others.

Over the course of 8 days, 'Ulamā/students will journey through the entire 2,131 page Sahīh al-Bukhāri under the esteemed guidance of Hadhrat Maulana Mohammed Abdullah Saleem Sahib db. As the last surviving student of Shaykh ul-Islam Maulana Hussain Ahmed Madani ra in the Western Hemisphere, Maulana Saleem Sahib’s scholarly credentials are unparalleled. His Sanad 'āli (high chain of narration) features a remarkably concise lineage, with only 21 esteemed teachers separating him from Imam Bukhari himself. This rare, elevated lineage of Islamic scholarship provides 'Ulamā/students with a unique opportunity to connect with the profound tradition.

May Allah accept their efforts and grant Hadhrat Maulana Saleem Sahib hafizahu-Allah long and healthy life, and may this maqra'a be a source of barakah and 'ilm for all.

Maulana Arshad Madani is among the most well known, and reputable scholars of our time. He is currently the President of Jamiat-E-Ulemaa Hind and the Head Hadith teacher of Darul Uloom Deoband, one of the most renowned religious & academic center in the Islamic World. He also holds the title of Principle in that same Institution.

To give a brief description of our honorable guest, he is the son of Shaykh Ul Islam Maulana Hussain Ahmad Madani who was the main student of Shaykh ul Hind Mahmudul Hasan, who is the main student of Hazarat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Nanautavi who is founder of the prominent Darul Uloom Deoband.

On Saturday, IIE held a historic graduation ceremony that drew an unprecedented number of attendees. Alhamdulillah, the masjid reached its full capacity within just 20 minutes of the event's commencement, marking a significant milestone in the institution's history.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of M***i Abul Qasim Nomani Sahib, the President of Darul Uloom Deoband, who served as the chief guest. His attendance was a great honor for the IIE community. We were also privileged to have M***i Hussain Kadodia, a renowned scholar, amongst our honored guests. Their participation underscored the event's importance and drew a huge number of 'Ulamā.

Scholars traveled from nearly every state across the continental United States, as well as from Canada, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and India, to attend this landmark event. The presence of such a distinguished assembly of scholars and guests added to the ceremony's significance, making it an unforgettable occasion for all who attended.

The highlights of the graduation included the accomplishments of our students across various programs:
- 4 High School Graduates
- 4 Huffaz
- 4 Ulamā
- 11 M***is
- 3 Scholars of the advanced Aqidah program

Each of these graduates has demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to their studies, embodying the values and educational excellence that the IIE strives to impart.

The program was meticulously organized, featuring recitations, speeches, and poems that enriched the ceremony. Key speeches included M***i Yasir Nadeem's address on the new Aqidah specialization course, an emotional commencement speech by the newly graduated Alim, Maulana Rayyan Khan, reflecting on his transformative journey at IIE. A surprise guest speech by Maulana Ibrahim Memon from Canada offered valuable advice to all attendees. The ceremony concluded with the Bukhari Khatam led by M***i Abul Qasim Nomani Sahib, followed by the much-anticipated Khatam Du'a by Hadhrat Maulana Abdullah Saleem Sahib db.

M***i Abul Qasim Nomani, a student of our respected founder Hadhrat Mawlana Abdullah Saleem Sahib, will be attending the IIE Alumni Retreat and 'Ulamā Majlis on Friday, July 12th at 6:30 PM and the Khatamul Bukhari Ceremony on Saturday, July 13th at 12:00 PM.

Darul-Uloom Deoband is a pillar of Islamic scholarship, and having its President grace our ceremony is a monumental honor. Hadhrat M***i Abul Qasim's visit emphasizes the significance of our institution and this landmark event. In addition to his main events at IIE, he will also be visiting several other esteemed locations, delivering Jumu'ah Khutbahs and Bayans across Chicago-land.

📃 Bellow are short biographies of our guests of honor

M***i Abul Qasim Nomani, born in 1947 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is a distinguished Islamic scholar and the current rector of Darul Uloom Deoband. He graduated from this prestigious institution in 1967, studying under eminent scholars such as Maulana Fakhruddin Muradabadi, Maulana Jameel Ahmad Thanvi, and Maulana Mahmud Hasan Gangohi (rahimahum-Allah), and specializing in Qira'āt under our beloved Maulana - Qari Abdullah Saleem (hafizahu-Allah). Appointed as a member of the Majlis Shura (Governing Body) of Darul Uloom in 1992, and later as rector in 2011, Maulana Nomani has upheld the institution's emphasis on traditional Islamic education and jurisprudence. Renowned for his deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and Hadith, he has significantly influenced the educational and religious perspectives of many Muslims globally. Known for his humility and scholarly rigor, M***i Abul Qasim Nomani 's leadership is marked by a steadfast commitment to the principles of Islam.

M***i Husain Kadodia, born in 1978 in South Africa, pursued Islamic studies at Madrasah Arabia Islamia in Azaadville, where he excelled under renowned scholars like Shaykh Fadhlur-Rahman Azmi. After graduating in 2001, he furthered his studies in Mauritania and other countries. He completed the Iftaa course under M***i Ebrahim Desai in 2004. A dedicated collector of Islamic manuscripts, M***i Husain has traveled widely for his research. He has taught at various institutions, including Darul Iftaa Mahmudiyyah and Darul Uloom Hameediyyah, and works on reproducing ancient manuscripts through his Maktab at-Tahqiq. Additionally, he runs Tahawi Books and has authored several works and research papers.

In an era where the Muslim Ummah faces challenges and differences, multiple MSAs coming together in the house of Allah to seek genuine knowledge that exemplifies unity and cohesion within our community. Their collective pursuit becomes a source of hope, showcasing the power of collaboration and reminding us that, when united in truth, we can overcome any obstacle.

Alhamdulillah the event surpassed expectations with an impressive turnout of over 800 attendees. The captivating speeches resonated well, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxing and intellectually charged, felt like home with a thirst for knowledge. The entire masjid overflowed with enthusiasm, echoing the success of the night. The ambiance was delightful, heightened by the soothing Yemeni qahwa from QawaHouse, delectable dinner from Slice, and the much-loved Bubble tea from Chi-Tea. The sisters' corner was a haven of inspiration, adorned with thoughtful details. Two incredible sisters delivered speeches that touched hearts and sparked motivation. To make this event possible, we welcomed volunteers from fellow MSAs who worked diligently from the moment they arrived. Heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this event a resounding success.
