A huge congratulations to these young athletes for an outstanding season—your hard work and dedication have truly paid off!
Elgin will be hosting the Super Bowl this year so if you don’t have plans on Saturday, come watch them in action!

We want to recognize the Elgin Little League Football Players and Cheerleaders at HALFTIME of the Weatherford vs Elgin 4A-1 District Game on THURSDAY OCT. 17th (7:00 Kickoff).
Elgin Little League Players and Cheerleaders in Jerseys/Uniforms will be admitted for FREE.
* Parents escorting their players / cheerleaders and will pay $4.00 (each parent - Student Ticket Price).
The success of the Elgin Owl Football program started when this year’s Seniors were Little War Owls.
We cannot thank enough the Parents and Coaches that have had such a huge impact on the lives of these young men. The Elgin Owl Football Program is reaping rewards sown from Coaches and Parents who cared about them and want to see them succeed. It is awesome to see.

All of our regular home games are behind us, and we owe a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers who made every game run seamlessly. Weeks 2 and 3 brought major wins for our Elgin War Owls, proving once again the strength of teamwork and determination. Every victory, no matter the size, brings us closer to even greater accomplishments. Enjoy the bye week—you've earned it! We'll be back and ready for battle on October 5th against Blanchard. Keep the momentum going!

The War Owls kicked off their season with an unforgettable first home game, leaving it all on the field. Our 1st and 2nd graders set the tone early with a thrilling overtime victory against the Bulldogs, earning the first W of the season. The 3rd graders held strong with a rock-solid defense, maintaining their lead over Altus all four quarters to secure their opening win. Though the 4th grade faced a tough loss and the 5th graders fought valiantly in a hard-fought double-overtime battle, the 6th grade closed out the day on a high note with a commanding win. It was a day full of grit, heart, and determination—an excellent start to the season!
A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who made game day possible! From setting up the field and organizing concessions to cheering on our athletes and helping with post-game clean up, your dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed. A special thanks to our announcer, Brian Begley. Your play-by-play commentary and enthusiasm kept the crowd engaged and brought the atmosphere to life. We couldn’t have done it without all of you, and we’re so grateful for the time and effort you put into making this first home game a success. You are the backbone of our program, and we appreciate everything you do to support our kids and the War Owls!
