So much as happened since I last posted. We went away on vacation and then our dogs broke out of our locked camper via the emergency latch and were lost in a foreign community. We were fortunately reunited with our pups and completed a nice little vacation. However, on returning home I was so sick for about 6 days that I did eat at all. Now this is the first productive weekend I’ve had in awhile due to all that craziness! Happy to put that all in the past and move on to some exciting new products!

Family Portraits are always in style but line drawings are trending. I've seen two version, it seems a lot are done right now without faces. What are your thoughts? Line drawings with faces or without?

Have you ever wondered how we get slots to fit so perfectly without the need for glue to hold it together?

We have to consider kerf (a term used to describe the little bit of material the laser burns off when cutting). It does mean doing a little math.

We also use a kerf slot guide to measure so we know how big to make lots to have the material fit just right. Pictures is our kerf guide.

Designed, cut, and painted this photo frame for Mother's Day. It's sized perfectly for wallet sized (2x3 inch) photos. Tip - this will also fit the instax mini photos if you trim them down just a little bit. Bonus Tip - This can be made with 3mm MDF because it's painted and just the sign piece made from birch.
