Dear Island Breeze Grill Community,
After over three decades in the restaurant business, we've decided to close the doors of Island Breeze Grill. Our journey began in Brooklyn, New York, and for the past 20 years, we've been grateful to serve you in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. It's been an incredible ride.
Throughout these years, we've experienced so much - from starting our family, welcoming adoptive children, to now enjoying the joys of grandchildren. God has been our guide, and we've been blessed to overcome the challenges of the pandemic. But with the aftermath of those trying times and the relentless pressures of inflation, it's become increasingly difficult to sustain our beloved restaurant.
It's not easy to say goodbye to Island Breeze, but we feel it's the right time. We want to shift our focus to the most important things in life – our family and cherished moments.
While Island Breeze may have closed its doors, we're excited to share that a new and exciting food establishment will soon take its place and will be renting our beautiful space. We wish our tenant, Nina Rivers, the very best on her new restaurant!
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible clientele. Thank you for making our time in the industry so special. We've been honored to serve you, and we look forward to what the future holds.
