A flash cove install brings the flooring material up the walls to eliminate the need for separate wall base. This type of install is ideal for sanitary spaces and wet rooms.

FRC installed Tarkett resilient sheet goods in these bathrooms to offer a seamless design that is easy to clean and maintain.

One of our latest projects was an office expansion in Chicago. It features an open floor plan that effortlessly invites collaboration and connection.

We installed Shaw LVT flooring with creative insets running at a 45-degree angle, bordered by sleek brass transition strips. This design not only delineates the spaces beautifully but also anchors the area like a stylish rug—without adding bulk!

The LVT flows seamlessly into the elevator lobby, creating a cohesive look. Despite being different heights, the Shaw LVT connects perfectly with Bentley carpet tiles in the office and gathering spaces. This is made possible when a union Fuse dealer is contracted to perform the work.

We just wrapped up a major project at a Chicago investment bank, where our team expertly laid down Shaw carpet and LVT in two spacious suites. The end result? A bright and welcoming space that's sure to impress.

We're thrilled to share that Flooring Resources Corporation was honored with a Fuse Alliance Spark Award at the recent conference in Phoenix! The 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐠𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 recognizes the most successful installation completed under a short and demanding timeline.

The winning installation was for the massive Chicago Merchandise Mart, one of the world's largest office buildings! Here's a glimpse of the challenge:

• 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰: Working around other trades in a bustling commercial environment.
• 𝗧𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲: Completed the project in just 2 weeks!
• 𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗹𝗲: Overcame a flood during installation.
• 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲: Installed more than 12,000 square feet of PLAE Fitness Flooring, a complex 4-layer system.
• 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁: Managed 15+ full truckload deliveries because of the material's size and weight – sometimes delivering three truckloads per day!
• 𝗧𝗼𝗽-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Used more than 1,600 LF of Johnsonite by Tarkett base, MAPEI, and XL Brands products, along with more than 1,200 square yards of Interface carpet tiles in the 2nd-floor conference and tenant lounge.

This award is a testament to the incredible skill and dedication of our team! We're proud to be a Fuse Alliance contractor and push the boundaries of what's possible in commercial flooring.

We were delighted to celebrate Women in Construction Week during our annual Fuse Alliance conference. This week and every week, Fuse honors the women who make our network better! Our diverse network is stronger because of the talented women who contribute their expertise, passion, and leadership every day.

It's a wet, dreary morning here in Chicagoland. On days like today, entrance mats like these really come in handy!

We installed multiple Mad Matter entrance mats at a car dealership in the suburbs to keep their showroom clean and dry.

Milliken carpet tiles were inset into Shaw carpet tiles to create the illusion of an area rug in this elevator lobby.

Defined borders were created with Shaw and Mohawk carpet tiles in this Chicago office building.

This whimsical design was installed in a children's museum. The colorful Forbo carpet was cut into shapes to mimic grass, a cobblestone path, a small pond and a corner full of honey comb. 🐝

The hexagons to create the honeycomb effect were each cut to shape, they were not purchased that way. Pretty impressive! 😎

This design allowed our installers to shine!

The lobby was transformed into a modern space with abstract shapes created out of wood planks and carpet tiles.
