Mama Yaya's Mission
Providing them with goods and experiences to call their own.
Mama Yaya’s Mission provides personal items and life-changing opportunities for children in Foster Care and for young adults aged out of the Foster Care system.
We have started to receive donations but our website is still not up yet. However, we are taking request for clothes for emergency cases. If you are getting a child in the foster care system and have an immediate need for clothes, please reach out to us. We will do our best to assist.
UPDATE: We are pleased to inform you that we were granted 501(c)(3) status effective August 19, 2022. The paperwork process to start on the right foot has been time consuming but we have also been busy creating a website and getting our storage room ready for donations. With each step we get closer to our goals, and we are excited to share every milestone with you.
Welcome to our page. We are a starting non-profit organization, 501(c)(3) pending, located in Elk Grove, CA. Our goal is to service Foster Care children and young adults aged out of the Foster Care system by providing them with clothes, shoes, hygiene products, school supplies, and much more. We are currently working on our clothes closet and accepting donations of gently used or new clothes and shoes for children of all ages. Please msg us to schedule a drop off or we can happily pickup donations. We look forward to finishing our clothes closet and reaching out to Foster Care Families who are in need of support.
