We are officially past the 36 week mark where I was suppose to be on maternity leave. Unfortunately it is the same week we got the green light to be back at the salon. It totally falls in line with the 2020 timeline right ? Gotta love it!
While I adjust my sails as a salon owner, home renovator, stylist, distant learning teacher and soon to be mommy of a new baby, I ask that you be patient with me. I appreciate all the love and support this past year. Oh, what a year!
I look forward to newer and better beginnings while loving on a new baby. I am taking a few clients here and there this week. I will also be happy to refer you out until I am back in the saddle! If I have learned anything this year, it’s to roll with the punches. Therefore there will be no exact date I will be returning behind the chair. I am confident it will all work out! Please reach out and I would love to assist you.

Of course I can’t leave out the baby of the family, “Doooonna”. This chic came in looking like a “Ratch -Chita”. They usually don’t have much of an opinion of what to do. So it’s free reign for me! This is when we just throw whatever we got together and Vòila! .....a big WHOOPS! Yeah it wasn’t suppose to be that purple - lol. Oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️ You win some, you lose some. We still love it!

My sister has been with me since day one of Cosmetology School. Back when it took me 4 hours to do a partial high light and cut. She got the green light for fun colors by her boss and boy did we go the opposite end of the spectrum. We were in a “natural hair only” box for over 16 years! I’m so thankful she trusts me with her hair!

Happy Birthday to this young lady right here. The lady who made me. This is a glimpse into a moment in time when she was carrying a baby across jungles and countries to flee bullets meant for her by the Khmer Rouge. Can you believe this “woman” went against everyone telling her to dispose of her baby so they wouldn’t get caught? THIS is what has taught me to be grateful, humble, and never to take life for granted. She did all that for a better future. I am forever indebted. Thank you mom for being born, brave, and beautiful.

Most clients think that hair appointments require lightening for major change. NOT in this case. Just an all over lowlight in the Signature Nudes line did the trick. We love the refreshed transition between the light summer blonde and deep autumn shades.

I love when a color just stops you in your tracks! During checkout I yelled “ STAY RIGHT THERE!!”- although I still don’t think my photography skills did it justice.... I still had to show how beautiful fall colors can be.
