Meet Kinsey Walker, our Busines Office Manager

Kinsey is fairly new to our campus and company. She started in May of this year.

She has been in long-term care for 4 years now. Kinsey has a background in insurance and administration. She has two kiddos, a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old. She has been married for almost 7 years and has a chocolate lab named Murphy.

Kinsey wanted to make the jump to healthcare from the insurance world because she wanted to help people any way she could. Her goal is to be able to help make things as easy as possible for the families and residents.

What inspired Kinsey to join the team? She heard wonderful things about Trilogy before she had started. She saw the posting and jumped to apply immediately. She interviewed with Brittney the ED and instantly clicked. She knew she wanted to be a part of Team Greenleaf!

Outside of work, Kinsey loves to spend time with her family, work out, online shop, and watch Grey’s Anatomy.

Dinosaur week was a success! We loved learning about fossils and visiting the Dinosaur Museum. It was only right to finish the week with a Dino Happy Hour!

Meanwhile, our residents back at Greenleaf were diggin' up fossils! They found some pretty neat stuff 🦖

This week's theme at Greenleaf is Dinosaur! We checked out South Bend's new Indiana Dinosaur Museum, and it was AMAZING! Rexy the T. rex made a special appearance. We also enjoy lunch and dessert at The South Bend Chocolate Café.

We love trying new places! This week, we tried ice cream from Tropicana Ice Cream Shop - Elkhart and it was delicious!

We are enjoying summer to the fullest! We crossed over to Michigan and enjoyed a day at Silver Beach with lunch at Clementine's Too!

Lunch by the lake? Yes please! We had a great lunch at Flippin Cow Burger Joint

Today our BFF's hosted a BBQ for our families, and we had an amazing time.

Meet our MDS Coordinator, Marie Weideman
Marie is one of our newer team members! She started in April of this year.

She is married with a 5 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. Marie has always felt a calilling to help people. She has been an RN for 15 years. She started in NICU and PICU at Memorial and since has held positions at the Elkhart Clinic, Michiana Hematology Oncology, and other LTC's in the area.

Marie enjoys outdoor activities like kayaking, fishing, and camping.

Today our BFFS had lunch at Ox Bow park and played a game of shuffleboard. We had an amazing time with our BFF's.

Hot summer days= ice cream outings! We love coming to Vanilla Bean Creamery for our ice cream fix!

We enjoyed a nice lunch at the Farmer's Market while looking for some fresh cherries for this week's creative cooking activity 🍒

Meet our Admissions Coordinator, Madison Olivarez.
Maddie has been with the company for 3 years

Before her career with Trilogy, She was a cake decorator for over 8 years out of her home and eventually with Meijer’s bakery for 5+ years. She self-taught herself how to bake/decorate by watching cake boss and youtube videos.

When Maddie toured our campus during her interview process, the building was very clean, everyone was very welcoming, and the residents were greeting her to their home. She had the experience working at a non-Trilogy campus, and the difference was immaculate.

Maddie enjoys camping with her Fiance and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Maddie's favorite moments at Greenleaf are the special events and theme dinners we do for the residents. She loves dressing up and entertaining the residents and seeing the resident’s reaction to our costumes and events.

Our admissions/ marketing team organized a wonderful event to help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Designer purse bingo was a huge success and so much fun! We met and exceeded our fundraising goal. We want to give a huge thank you to Laurie at Traditions Health for being our Bingo caller & entertainment for the night. Huge thank you to our kitchen staff for the wonderful meal. As well as a huge thank you to everyone who came out to raise money for a wonderful cause. 💜
