Congratulations from the 4 on the 4th and the Elmhurst Running Club to marathon runner Lindsay Flanagan on being named to the U.S. team for the World Championships on Aug. 26 in Budapest, Hungary! A Chicago-area native, Lindsay starred at Lake Park HS, including a state 3A cross-country championship in 2008. She went on to more greatness at the University of Washington before turning pro in 2014. Good luck, Lindsay!
