🙌 Huge shoutout to our amazing D205 maintenance and custodial staff! ❄️ Their dedication in keeping our spaces clean and safe during this past week’s winter storm and the extreme temperatures this week is truly commendable. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Mr. Mike is out there today setting us up for success tomorrow🌟

Today’s principal lunch was an absolute blast! 😄🍔 We loved chatting and sharing laughs with our incredible students. We also got to celebrate Ms. Stachura’s birthday together today.

🌟🦅 We wanted to highlight a few of our PBIS prize spin winners who soared as falconers, caring for our Field falcons (Freddy, Franny, Fin & Fiona) this week. Their excitement and commitment were truly inspiring! Here are snapshots of our Fantastic Falconers with their Falcons. ✨ 🦅

🎵🎄 Starting the day on a musical note! Our talented 5th-grade band students spread holiday cheer with their fantastic performance for the office this morning. So proud of their dedication and festive spirit! 🎶✨

🎄✏️ Our first graders are spreading holiday joy with heartfelt writings about being home for the holidays. Their creativity knows no bounds as they share delightful snapshots and even decorate drawings of their homes! 🏡🌟

Today, we would like to highlight our custodian Mr. Mike. Mike isn't just about spotless spaces. He's a vital part of our school! He goes above and beyond for our students daily. His positive rapport with our staff and students builds a stronger, happier Field.

We were so excited to welcome our Field Falcons to their First Day in their awesome new school. We had an amazing day!

Field was recognized at our Board of Education meeting alongside and for their contributions to Honor Flight Chicago . Our Field fifth graders ran and raised money to send a veteran on an honor flight. Thank you Falcons for your dedication and thank you for coordinating.

Thank you Field staff for all you do! It has been an amazing year at all of our host schools .

Talon our Field Falcon enjoyed Hawthorne’s Walk, Bike & Roll to school this morning. What a great start to the day!

Our Field staff gathered together today during the late start. We were so excited to plan together.

Field’s fourth and fifth grade staff toured the new Field this week. We are excited to share some photos from the tour. The building is beautiful with so much natural light and color! We can’t wait for our falcons to fly home!

Our new Field building is coming along quickly! We can’t thank the community enough for supporting this amazing facility. We are excited to bring our falcons home for the 23-24 school year. Thank you for keeping the project on schedule.

We DONUT know what we would do without the amazing team. Our dropped a sweet treat off for the team working on building our new Field this morning. We are beyond excited and so thankful to be running ahead of schedule.

Field has some amazingly talented students! Today we highlight the hard work of one of them! Elin’s poem “Where I’m From” recently won first place nationally. She was invited to New York to read her poem and while there GMA3 also interviewed her. You can catch her on TV today on ABC at 12:00pm! Way to Go Elin!

The preparation for demolition has been completed. Demolition of the Field building will begin this Saturday (6/18/22) at 7:00am. It is bittersweet, but we look forward to what is to come!

Ending the year with theme days and special memories! We 💙Field!

Th Great Falcon Flight continues! Classes have been busy taking pictures by the Field sign and playground, making thank you cards and sharing their favorite memories of Field!

Today was the first day of Student Council’s Great Falcon Flight! All week long classes are encouraged to participate in different challenges. Some challenges include getting a picture in front of the Field sign and leaving our mark on Field! Stay tuned to see what all of the classes are up to!

Elmhurst District 205 is set to break ground on the complete rebuild of their second school. Another step in creating transformative learning spaces for the students in Elmhurst Public Schools, the District will break ground on the project that will bid farewell to the 87-year old building and begin the rebuild of the new and improved Field Elementary School.

Join representatives from the Board of Education, Administration, Staff and Students for this memorable event tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. in front of Field Elementary at 295 North Emory Avenue in Elmhurst.
