Sending the Warmest Holiday Wishes to all of our community supporters! You are such a blessing to all!
In April of 2021, I was approached by Kevin -the host of the recently vandalized Community Cupboard in Elmira. Him and his family were eager to help and had immediately picked up a Cupboard, installed and shared with our community.
Its disheartening to hear that due to the selfish acts of others, he had to remove the cupboard from his property. Years ago, when this project began, I myself had concerns that this would happen but it was the heart of our community that would pull us through in the end expanding from 2 cupboards in Elmira to a total of 11 from Owego to to Pine City, all the way to Canaseraga.
I hope that someday Kevin and his family can re-install. Until then, I hope that these vandals can somehow turn themselves around and realize that those few minutes of "fun" ruined a really incredible blessing to several area families.
This makes my heart smile. ✌️ & 🧡
