Available! 80crv2 core damascus with 52100/15n20 pattern damascus separated with layers of 1095. The blade was professionally atmosphere heat treated to maximize the 80crv2 at 61hrc. The handle is black micarta with some stabilized burl and fiber spacers. One of my favorite knives in a while. This would excel at meal prep in a home kitchen. Very thin edge to fall through a cut, well balanced so it’s very light to use, with just enough blade mass to keep a good cut going through hard stuff. The handle is stabilized and sealed for a lifetime of use. The blade is made of high carbon steels, which along with the advantages should be cared for as such. If you’re unfamiliar give it a quick google

Specs:
Cutting edge 7”.
Spine at handle .13”.
Blade width 2.1”.
0.8” octagonal handle.
5.7” handle length.
Balances 0.75” from the handle.
Zero ground edge, hand shaped.

Letting this go for $950 with shipping and a padded zipper case included. I can accept PayPal, Venmo, and crypto. I expect to keep putting out knives as I finish them, only a handful a year I think so this may be your last shot for a while. Thanks for looking!

This one will be available this weekend, keep an eye out

Just finished up, will be available soon. 80crv2 core at 61hrc with 15n20 and 52100 Damascus mixed with some 1095 and 5160 layers. Heat treat was optimized for the 80crv2 core layer to give a sharp, durable, hard edge that stays very fine. This is a flat grind with a very fine convex down to a zero thickness edge, no secondary bevel to sharpen. Also grabbed some stabilized burl for the handle

Getting a little fancier than normal. Trying new etches, using some 80crv2 steel for the core with 52100 and 1095, and some 5160 blended in

First chefs knife up for grabs in a while! 600 layer 52100/15n20 steel with a ton of chatoyance and shimmer in person. The handle is spectraply with micarta, a little out of normal for me but I’m liking it.

Cutting edge 7.2”
Handle 5.3”
Spine 1.4” tapering to a 0.005” edge

Letting it go for $650 shipping included through PayPal or crypto

Finally done. K tip inspired chefs knife with 52100 and 15n20 steel, bocote handle, micaeta accent, and some yellow spacers. Just a random light twist 4 bar damascus. Getting a feel for it again

Getting there on this one. Working on three at once right now. Getting a feel for everything all over again

#52100

Cleaning out, old stock. First $425 takes it shipping included. This was a blade I started and never finished because I was having a hard time getting the hamon i wanted. It's a progressive edge quench, with several hamons behind the primary. 1095 blade with a zero grind, .12" spine, and 6" edge. An excellent all around cooking knife. Grip is bocote and carbon fiber, with carbon fiber tube pins. This was something I was never totally "finished" with but somone should use it instead of it collecting dust. That being said, there are minor cosmetic defects like grit marks here and there, but most people would never see it if I didn't mention it. As is, first come first serve. This is the first knife I've had for sale in over a year, and probably the last for a long time until life changes up.
