Excited to be getting to use my barbering skills more!

We are broken and jet lagged BUT we are here!!

I love love love my clients! I am truly blessed to be a part of their lives and to be able to make their hair dreams come true. Specially in situations like cancer!

All done!!! I finished in half the time I gave myself and I couldn't be more proud. I can't wait to start a new challenge. I'm also really excited about the friends that my journey has encouraged to start the same challenge! Keep it up you bad ass bi***es!!!

I have 26 days left of my 98 mile/42 day and I have completed 78 miles in just 16 days! Maybe the next one I will start running instead of just walking.

I have been talking about doing one of these for so long! Since my goal this year is to continue my fitness journey and also repair my mental health…I figured this fell into both categories! So I have 42 days to go 98 miles (technically 94.24 because I already started). I will get a really dope skull medal when I finish so that’s exciting too.

We are all set and ready to go!! Shear Savage has officially moved and opened back up as of tomorrow. This has been a very LONG week!!! I will be happy to be in bed before 3 am today that is for sure. Less than two years ago I was just planning the details of opening my very own salon. Not once did I expect that I would grow out of that spot so quickly but here we are in this beautiful space. I feel it…it’s like home. I thank everyone who helped me achieve this wild vision of mine. Specially my husband, whom I am surprised has not taken me to divorce court after having him do all things he is not…electrician, carpenter, washer repair, hanger of all things just to name a few! I welcome ALL to come and see our new spot. I hope our hair family loves it as much as we do!!!

Some days are great days…and then there are theses days!! Thankfully for me most days are great ones!

I have the best clients ever!! It is a true reward to be able to make a difference in people's lives.

Well...today is 1 year since I opened my own salon. I still remember overwhelming feeling once we finished the remodel! I was scared and happy and relieved. Although this was a dream of mine for many years I never thought it would come together so well in such a short time and certainly not during a pandemic! I had so much help getting to this place in my life. So many names to name but these ladies here help the everyday world go round. I picked a great bunch to work with for sure!! I can honestly say I have laughed more at work in this one year than I can count. It is truly the environment I always imagined my salon being. So I thank Jessie and Beth for trusting me to create a place they could have their clients come to and for believing that I could follow in their owner footsteps. Thank you to Jillian...our recent arrival...for adding to the atmosphere. To Sara for also adding to the atmosphere even though she doesn't work here but should! My brother Al for helping with all my fix it needs. My husband and kiddos for understanding how important this is to me and always supporting me no matter how much I am at work! I love you all!!
