π₯° I'm entering the one shot hair awards with this breathtaking extension transformation. 4 rows of beaded wefts using hand-tied wefts.
Amidst the routine of root touch-ups, highlights, glosses, and cuts, the art of transforming hair remains truly magical. Custom coloring dual tones of brown and vibrant magenta wefts for Danielle's natural brown hair is not just a service; it's a solution for a seamless grow-out journey. Today, I'm unabashedly tooting my own horn β a heartfelt thanks to for entrusting me with yet another beautiful transformation. π
Can we get rid of captions in 2024? π just kidding. But sometimes they leave me completely blank!
This is one of my besties and her babe! π
Refreshed her color when she was home visiting us. So thankful for the time I get to spend with them all!
Clients, check your emails! (Promotion folder if you don't see it in your inbox!) I was able to get my hands on some of your favorite Lanza products.

Embracing the beauty of natural white hair with a twist of contrast! π€
This lovely client embarked on a grow-out journey during the pandemic, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be part of her transformation. Swipe to the last photo to see where we started β her commitment is truly inspiring! She still has some of that old color on her ends, but we're due for a nice chop at her next appointment.
Instead of being in the salon every couple of weeks to touch up her roots, she can now go up to 3 months in between services. What a time saver!
*Please remember*, this color service is best suited for those with already white hair. Let's celebrate the journey to stunning, age-defying hair together! π€π€π©Άπ€
I've been a little quiet on social media lately.. β¨ Embracing the whirlwind that life has become lately! πͺοΈ From color corrections to root touch ups behind the chair, to diving headfirst into wedding prep (just 27 days away now!), and even squeezing in those gym sessions for that healthy glow β time truly knows how to sprint. β°
The digital world keeps us connected, and while posting might occasionally take a backseat to these incredible adventures, every moment spent glamming up your hair or planning our fall visit is in the forefront. π However, if I get quiet during your blowdey, I may be thinking about when the heck I'm going to find the time to order the necklace I need or build my bouquets...
Speaking of bouquets, can you believe I haven't even tried on my wedding dress yet? π
π°ββ It's on it's way.. The florals for my dream bouquets and centerpieces have shipped, and the grand plan for our ceremony is a charming work-in-progress. But hey, these are the stories that make life exciting, right?
Oh, and all new client requests are having to be added to waitlists since I have a full house until at least October. That's because your love and trust have been overwhelming, bringing new faces to the chair. Each one of you is a star, making my hairstylist journey even more fabulous! βπ
So yes, the hair photos are waiting patiently in my phone, and the updates might be a tad sporadic, but let's remember that these moments β the colors, the cuts, the laughs, the puppy snuggles, the weights lifted β are the essence of life. πΈβ¨ Stay tuned for more, and let's continue cherishing each beautiful milestone together.
Let's talk about gray!
Or sparkles, as I like to call them.
Oftentimes, blonde helps "hide" the gray as it grows out, only because there is less contrast between the root and the previously colored hair.
With that being said-- not EVERYONE should be a blonde, and there are many different tones of blonde.
Tammy came to me with washed out, almost platinum hair, that she last had colored in October. We had 4+ inches of roots to handle, plus we wanted to make her look healthier! Went straight to work to warm up her look. Roots, lowlights, and a gloss to tone down those nearly white ends.
My best piece of advice for helping blend that line as it grows out is doing dimensional color. Gray hair tends to have multiple shades. Dimension in the rest of the hair vertically will take your eye away from the horizontal grow out line even more when it inevitably grows out again.
Her hair felt significantly healthier and looked shinier than ever. What do you think? Before photo at the end. π₯°
Also, how cute is her shirt??
π I can't believe I haven't posted this one yet!!! I've only stared at in in my camera roll about 1,000,000 times. π
Refresh a month ago for .your.soul_ . We touch up her root every other appointment to maintain the integrity of her hair. So, on the in-between appointments, I usually change up the placement of my colors. Darker towards the root to help blend the natural color - and then we added a brighter green and more of it along with 3 different blues. All applied in a colorblocking placement.
ππ©΅ππ
Which tone is your favorite? I can't pick just one.
Want to know the secret to perfect blonde all summer long? π
It's a three- part cocktail made up of:
- 1 part toner applied by me, your amazing stylist, once every six to eight weeks.
- 1 part thermal protectant, so we save your hair from breakage and heat damage (plus your toner will last longer).
- 1 part moisture mask. Sun, salt air, and sweat are tough on your hair. We need to show it a little love just once a week.
If you are one of the new faces that I have seen follow me lately,Β
Welcome!
Iβm Jessie, and this is what I look like. I know I don't share a ton of pictures of me because I'd rather show off my works of art! I absolutely love my job. β€οΈ
3 fun facts about me:Β
βοΈ Iβm a coffee lover, and I have to limit myself to two cups a day, max. If you're ever in my chair, you will see that I rarely need any EXTRA energy. π
π I love animals and have 2 coonhounds that I spoil to death on a daily basis. I also have a leopard gecko who is 13+ years old! π¦
π₯ My favorite form of self care is having quiet time with my dogs and my fiancΓ© around a fire.Β
So now that you know a bit about me, I want to know a bit about you!
Drop a fun fact about you in the comments (bonus points if we share a fun fact)!
β οΈ I should know better...
Than to post Lindsey's white hair on my last reel. lol
I know that that only results in all of my blondes sitting in my chair asking for whiter hair! π« Lucky for me, I have very trusting clients.
As soon as .embacher.martin said she saw a post of mine.... I knew where we were going. π Now, with her schedule, I know that a solid platinum would be hard to upkeep, never mind the initial sessions to get her there. BUT... there's always a happy medium.
Instead of spending 10 hours making her platinum, we decided on brightening some of her existing blonde and adding more highlights. We finished with a base bump- which also lightens her natural hair that is left in between another level or two- and an icy toner. This means more blonde, brighter all over, and still sticking to the same maintenance schedule. ππΌββοΈ
What do you think of the result?
Was it a good compromise?
Thank you for doing my hair yesterday and making feel refreshed! π
Low maintenance ribbons for my cousin who's ready to deliver her second little girl!
We all want to imagine you'll be back in the salon during your maternity leave, but realistically, it flies by. You need something that will grow out seamlessly.
So that's exactly what we did!
In case you missed the email....
Resending: Blondes have more fun! It's that time of year! I'm doing highlight after highlight to brighten everyone up for the warmer weather. Once this rain ends, that is. With more blonde, eventually comes some brass. 3-5 weeks after your salon visit, you may notice some unwanted yellow tones peeking through on your once...
Love this stuff! I'm fully stocked in salon. π

π A lot of my clients are mothers. π©βπ§βπ¦
This means I see so much loss and growth in the hair from hormones being up and down during, post, and sometimes even a few years post pregnancy. This is 100% normal and is something to prepare yourself for.
My beautiful new client has an abundance of new growth coming back in! π She was looking for low-maintenance dimension. I used her new growth to diffuse her base. By teasing out the shorter hairs that are only 3" long, that left only the strands of hair that contributed to the length, and I was able to foil them in a balayage fashion. This gives maximum impact, and a seamless grow out.
If I had gone in and done a traditional highlight, she would have most of her brightness at the root. The ends would have appeared darker since not all of the strands that were highlighted continued to the ends. β¨οΈ Placement is as important as the formulation. β¨οΈ
I love using your "challenge" with your hair to our advantage.

I want to give up!
On social media.
Here's the thing. We're supposed to have a content calendar, a posting schedule, and witty, engaging captions for each one. And sometimes... most times... I just want to share my beautiful work with you!! Just a picture, or video clip-- nothing more.
Unfortunately, that's frowned upon.
I've stuck to the rules long enough. Kept unrealistic posting goals. Felt crappy when I didn't meet them. My camera roll is FILLLLLLLLLED with hair photos. I'm ready to break free and sometimes JUST post a photo like this with a simple "fresh spring blonde" caption.
So take that algorithm! π π€·ββοΈ
I hope this goes ok.... lol if you stop seeing my posts for a while, look me up. π
Is purple shampoo for you?
These are all clients leaving the salon with fresh color.
If you look like one of the photos on the left when you leave the salon, then about 4 weeks after your appointment, you should start alternating in a purple shampoo.
If you look like one of the clients on the right when you leave the salon, then purple shampoo will just dull your color.
Purple negates yellow, not orange. If you have gold tones in your hair when you leave the salon, you do not need to be using purple shampoo. If you want a paler blonde, you need to be lifted higher. Purple shampoo will not lighten your hair.
Comment π if you use purple shampoo.
Happy Friday!

Have you ever wanted a major change but aren't sure that you can make it back to the salon every couple of months?
Feathered babylights packed back to back will give you the most impactful change, and the softest grow out. Think shadowroot-- that grows in naturally over time. πͺ
One of my favorite things is for my clients to go longer in between appointments if possible. This allows you to have fewer salon visits per year, saving you $$.
My gorgeous friend lives in NC and won't be making it back to the salon for a while, yet wanted to be blonde. We heavily highlighted using this technique, and she will get a few months out of this color before she feels like she needs a touch-up.

Trusting a new stylist can be scaryβ¦
Have you ever gone to a salon and felt like you might as well have just pulled a number at the deli for your turn?
You will not get that in my salon. I create an experience. An experience that I hope really tugs on your heart strings.
Weβll have a thorough consultation to make sure you are 100% confident in the services youβll be receiving.

Can I let you in on a secret that only my guests know about? β¬οΈ
When you are one of my clients, you get SO much more than just an awesome new color!
One of my favorite perks that is exclusive to my guests is my Client-Only Salon App. π²
Now Iβm not going to share all of the cool things that my guests get access to in the Client-Only App because then it wouldnβt be exclusive, right? π
But what I can tell you is that it is a direct link to me and my business at any time of the day or week. Once you sit in my chair, you'll have the opportunity to download my app.
This means that if you have a question for me, want to book an appointment, or maybe need to order some product, it can ALL be done within the app.
Pretty cool, right?? π€©

π On my Experience Customization Form sent out the day of your appointment, you get to choose how chatty you are feeling that day. β€οΈ
Yesterday, I had a client who chose "not feeling super chatty," so after our consult, she got to sit back, relax, and close her eyes while I cut and styled her hair.
If you watched my story today and had questions, this is what a tone and treat can look like for a blonde. Brighter and less brassy without any lightening. We did a toning treatment (and a trim) on my client this appointment, and look at that before and after. So much brighter, softer and more manageable. Best part, you're in and out of the salon in an hour and at $80! Win win if you ask me. ππΌββοΈ Get your hair happy for the holidays.
