Why is emotion regulation so important?
If we don’t engage in emotion regulation, then the event that caused our emotions to dysregulate has power over us, as opposed to us having power over the event.
Discover the magic in the pause between action and reaction. It’s within this pause that we find the strength to shape our own narrative, unlocking growth and freedom. ✨
Brains listen in on self talk. We are so quick to critique ourselves that we don’t realize the impact it has on our self esteem. Talking highly of yourself can help to boost self esteem and overall morale. Be aware of your language that you use about yourself. Your brain is listening! 🧠🤍
You don’t owe an explanation to anyone about who you are or why you are doing something. If it makes sense to you, it doesn’t have to make sense to anybody else.
Sometimes we just need to take a step back and think about what we can do to feel some relief. Take a look at this list and see if anything resonates with you. Set aside some time and focus on you. 🤍💫
This can be one of the hardest ideas to grasp, but in time you may find it is true for many of us. Keep your head held high and take advantage of what life throws at you; you never know where it will lead you!

When you focus on improving yourself, everything you want will come to you.
We attract based on who we are, not what we want. Don’t chase, attract. 💫
Next time you feel the urge to mindlessly check your phone or scroll through social media, close your eyes and take a deep breath. Try to engage in an activity that is more nourishing to your mind and body. Become aware of how your actions impact how you feel! 📱➡️🌷🌟🌿
