This weekend, we celebrated PT Coupling's 73rd anniversary with our annual company picnic! Hundreds of our team members and their families joined us for a day filled with rides in the park, delicious food, live music, and plenty of fun. We extend our gratitude to everyone who made this day possible and, most importantly, to our team members for being a part of our ongoing success!

In honor of Memorial Day, PT Coupling will be closed on Monday, May 27. We take this time to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

Autry Tech celebrates the incredible achievements of five outstanding students in advanced manufacturing! 🏆 Jonathon "Kyce" O’Donnell, Kaden Delancy, Kyle Venable, Micheal Silver, and Bryson Koehn from the Computerized Machining (CNC Machining) program have secured a spot among the top 16 teams of over 80 participating schools in Project MFG's 2024 Advanced Manufacturing Competition. Coached by instructor Jeremiah Reschke, these students exemplify excellence and skill in their craft. As they gear up for the regional competition in March, we're cheering them on every step of the way!

CAMPOS RECEIVES HONOR FROM HEAT TREAT TODAY'S “40 UNDER 40 CLASS OF 2023” FOR ROLE IN MANUFACTURING & HEAT TREAT INDUSTRIES

ENID, OK – Guillermo “Guille” Campos, Heat Treat Manager at PT World Headquarters also known as “PT Coupling”, received the honor from Heat Treat Today’s “40 Under 40 Class of 2023”, which recognizes 40 industry professionals and rising leaders in the North American heat treat industry.

Campos began his academic career at FIME, UANL México (Facultad de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León) in the materials engineering class of 2010. He continued his education by earning a master’s degree in Quality Systems and Productivity in 2019.

With over 12 years in the industry, he started as a quality engineer at Cuprum Group and a junior researcher at TenarisTamsa. He has worked at different companies such as AHMSA (Altos Hornos de México), as a project and process engineer, which is one of the most important steel mills in Mexico. Another of Guillermo’s key positions in the heat treatment industry was his role at Caterpillar where he developed several part numbers for the gears heat treatment facility in Monterrey, Mexico.

Currently, Guillermo is the manager of Heat Treatment at PT Coupling based in Oklahoma. In this position, Campos provides engineering direction to the heat treating shop, as well as in engineering-related safety, scheduling, production, quality control, shipping, and enhancement. Due to his metallurgical background, he also collaborates with the foundry department to meet the materials specification requirements for his clients, ensuring the quality of the parts.

At PT Coupling, Campos also worked in thermal processing with processes such as carburizing, neutral hardening, normalizing, annealing, and quenching. Additionally, he has worked with other alloys such as aluminum, stainless steel, and ductile iron and now is creating and updating procedures and documentation for the company. Also, he is considered as an internal consultant on heat treatment, casting, and metallurgy, and has been a valuable resource in his area.

Campos is known for his skills as a leader, such as leading by example (mentorship), goal-oriented time management, conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and many other skill sets. He is especially skilled in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, 5S, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing.
