A self-taught and industry-taught chef, Liz loves creating ethnic fusion dishes like ahi poke tostadas and Cajun seafood Alfredo. Her love for Asian cooking started early, with her father introducing her to traditional Japanese fare like udon noodle soup. Liz’s heart belongs to Asian cuisine—fresh veggies, fermented condiments, authentic spices, rice, seafood, and stir-frying are her specialties!

A huge shoutout to the Thomas Cuisine team at Touro University for their incredible work preparing 120 scratch-cooked meals and perfectly packaging them for travel from Montana to New Mexico for the Touro Dental School groundbreaking ceremony! 🥪✈️ Adhering to Kosher standards is part of our daily operations at Touro, but ensuring the meals stayed fresh and maintained proper temperatures during the journey was a unique challenge. The team accomplished this seamlessly, and the 110 lunches and 10 dinners were well received, both in taste and presentation!
Chef Justin extends a special thanks to Kyle Morlan, Kim Carter, Jerimiah Cox, Josiah, Rabbi Mendel, and the rest of the Thomas Cuisine team. We also appreciate the leadership from Touro, especially Rabbi Krupka, Jeff Rosengarten, and Zac Senderovic.
