• It can take 2-3 waxes to get your hairs all on the same cycle; meaning all hair grows out at the same time = all gets waxed out at the same time = staying smooth longer & thinner hair along the way!

Hey Hi! 😁👋🏻
It’s ya girl behind the profile! My name is Megan W! I’ve been a PA licensed cosmetologist for over 7 years now! 🎉 I’m a 24 year old, boy mom who moved to Erie, Pennsylvania at 18 from my small hometown to grow in my career & the beauty industry!

💧 ᴡᴀxɪɴɢ & ꜱᴋɪɴᴄᴀʀᴇ have become my overall passion over the years - giving quality services while also guiding my clients in the right areas for their needs can be truly the best + most satisfying part of it all! (Along with the friendships, duh!) I originally got into cosmetology because my older sister was licensed as I was growing up! I thought she was the COOLEST thing in the world.. this girl had “My Humps” by the Black Eyed Peas as her cellphone ringtone back in the day + a convertible.. I swore no one could top her 😂 I would go to the salon with her all the time, watch her do color, cuts & everything in between; always had her do my own hair/brows when we’d visit her, then, once I was older, even went to hair classes with her! I’ll always owe a little bit of my love for all of this to her + my momma who was also licensed back in the day!! When I was in school, I thought I’d always just do hair - little did I know I’d be waxing my little heart out 😂😅 but absolutely loving it!!

To this day, I will never regret getting this license, perfecting my niche every single time I wax someone & meeting each of you! If I met you through my job, in a Starbucks drive through, the gym, late night in a girls bar restroom LOL thanks for not thinking I’m crazy and for giving me a follow 😘 I’m so happy I can be my fun, bubbly self & to have you guys choose to tag along & follow my page for this ride! Elementary/high school Megan who got the “social butterfly” notes on report cards would be proud that she can still be this way now! 😂

Dry & oily skin both can be combated with good exfoliation in your waxing routine! 👏🏻 Exfoliation+Moisturizing are KEY to any waxing - it makes your time and results so much better and makes my job of getting you super smooth, even easier! For these long PA winter seasons when our whole bodies can seem to become dry - exfoliation will help skin feel less tight & cracked.. leaving a fantastic canvas for your moisturizer to go on after! Following these tips before/after your waxing can not only help make your waxing experience better during our appointment, but also, to help the skin stay smooth longer, and to get your hair to be more thin & grow slow between our appointments!

TLC doesn’t stop after our appointment together - it needs to be continued consistently. I always tell clients, “ I may be with you for only so long at our appts but YOU are with yourself everyday for a few weeks until I see you again “ - so help me help you by keeping up with your “at home” skincare 😘💗

Whether it is your first wax ever or you’ve done this a few times now - taking care of your hair & skin are a top priority when you’re waxing! 😊

✨ Loose, comfy clothes are always best for your appointments, but not a necessity. Cotton underwear are great for bikini-wax appointments.

✨ Be consistent with your waxes! Not only will this help your hair grow in the same cycle, but help it stay smooth longer & avoid ingrown hairs.

✨ You can choose to take an ibuprofen/Advil 30-45 mins before your appointment time.

✨ Don’t be nervous!! You’ll LOVE your results & want to come back for more - I promise.

✨ Avoid pools, jacuzzis, exercising, s*x, tanning, direct sun exposure & other activities that could irritate your freshly waxed skin for 24-48 hours.

✨ Exfoliate 2-3 times per week. This not only helps with cleansing your skin of dirt/oils, but also, lifts up dead skin cells & hairs to prep for waxing!

✨ Moisturizing your skin daily is key, especially in dry weather!

✨ Avoid shaving between appointments as it can cause ingrown hairs & restart your growth cycle!

✨ Let your hair grow! Atleast 1/4 of an inch is best (about the size of a grain of rice) but longer is totally ok, too!
