The 47th Annual Writing Awards Night is tonight! Make sure to stop by from 3-4 at the Palumbo Atrium for Lori's afternoon seminar, and join us tonight at 7:30 for the main event. We cannot wait to see you there!
Students could select to read any of Lori Jakiela's memoirs or collections of poetry. The workshop is from 3-4pm in the 3rd floor atrium of Palumbo and the Awards is at 7:30pm in the Yehl Ballroom.

📝 Tomorrow, Gannon University will host its 47th annual Writing Awards Night at 7:30 p.m. in the Waldron Campus Center’s Yehl Ballroom, featuring distinguished author Lori Jakiela. The event is free and open to the public: https://tinyurl.com/24hjers7
In addition to the awards program, Jakiela will host an afternoon seminar, "Brains for Robots: Why (Human) Writers Matter Now More Than Ever," at 3 p.m. in the Palumbo Academic Center’s Third Floor Atrium.
Dr. Bomberger's African American Literature class traveled to Washington D.C. to go to the National Museum of African American History and Culture! Students also had the opportunity to explore D.C. for several hours.
