CASA of Humboldt
CASA speaks for children in court because all children have a right to live in a safe, healthy and secure environment.
A CASA advocate is the eyes and ears of the judge in the world and the voice for the child in the courtroom. If you are someone who cares, you could become a consistent support for a child in their time of crisis. Advocates work for the best interest of children who enter the court system primarily as a result of abuse and neglect. Advocates interview parents, teachers, social workers, and anyone

"I love Humboldt County and have a heart for serving this community. My first experience with CASA was serving as an advocate for 4 years where I completed 3 cases. I’ve seen first-hand, the work advocates do and the need for this organization. I’ve also enjoyed raising funds for the CASA Kidwalk and SuperKid Season with my “Team Trillium” for several years."

Teens make up 50% of the youth receiving support from a CASA volunteer in California. Just because they're older doesn't mean they should have to go through the challenges of navigating foster care, school, and trauma alone.
