Forever Found Humboldt

We’ve put off this OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT long enough…Forever Found has officially closed our doors at our Eureka location due to unethical behavior by our very own Ward 1 representative Leslie Castellano Eureka City Council who accused us in an email to law enforcement of misusing the non-profit Ink People Center for the Arts (who she is executive director of) as a way of "getting around" a cannabis regulation that does not exist. She claimed in her email, "I know there are strict requirements about having a cannabis business and how that prohibits the sale of alcohol." Forever Found has raised thousands of dollars over the years for the Ink People as a DreamMaker under their umbrella. We also own a separate cannabis business called Heart of the Emerald.

After realizing she was wrong in her ignorance of the law, Councilmember Castelleno emailed us (without CCing any law enforcement) an apology for misinterpreting the law. I let her know that her informal apology is not acceptable as it should include and be formally addressed to our community of visual artists, employees, musicians, dance performers, security staff, vendors, sponsors, non-profits, patrons, etc who will no longer enjoy our space that celebrated and showcased the Arts and Culture that she claims to be a representative.

This libel accusation was negligently expressed by our ‘representative’ and was a complete dereliction of her duty as she is ethically and legally required to represent the ‘people’s interest before any personal interests or concerns.’ This has been the worst betrayal to the constituents that literally helped get Leslie Castelleno elected!

WE THE PEOPLE will hold you accountable.

GRATEFUL HARVEST CELEBRATION!!! Come join us Saturday November 12th for this epic day and evening to show appreciation to Mother Earth for providing us with another year of abundant harvests!!

We will kick this celebration off with our Inaugural Canna Farmer’s Market in the Paradise Ballroom at 107 5th Street, Eureka where we will showcase some of our region’s best producers. There will be a Mayan Temple maze, eerie jungle scenes, scary actors, and performers in costumes ready to scare you throughout the whole experience!!

Pete Sawyer and The The Left Hand Monkey Wrench Gang are stoked to bring their high energy “all killer, no filler” Grateful Dead Tribute to Forever Found Humboldt in Eureka on 8/27/22!  

will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic 8/27/72 “Sunshine Daydream” Grateful Dead show in Veneta, Oregon by performing the third set in it’s entirely as well as cherry picking the most psychedelic moments from the rest of the show mixed in with their usual selection of GD classics.  8/27/72 is one of the greatest, most psychedelic shows The Dead ever performed and was immortalized on the album and movie release Sunshine Daydream.  The show was a benefit for the Springfield Creamery put together by Psychedelic explorer and author Ken Kesey.

Pete has assembled a band of some of the finest players in the GD scene for this show.  The Gang for this voyage features:

We are stoked to hosting on Saturday June 11th on his “Beauty Way Tour: A Transformative Music, Dance, and Healing Experience”

Multicultural musician, healer, and educator Poranguí will return to Eureka, CA on Saturday, June 11th at Forever Found. He and co-facilitator Ashley Klein will create an intentionally curated container to experience the healing power of music and authentic expression. The Beauty Way Tour offers participants an evening of improvised world soul music, dance, and sound healing along with a unique opportunity to connect with themselves and their community, emerging transformed and more whole. 

The four-hour journey of rhythm, sound, and movement, commences with an opening ceremony and opportunity for the audience to activate their voice and sing together. Poranguí’s extended live music set will be complemented by Ashley’s vocal guidance and live visual projections creating an unforgettable journey through the beauty of the earth and the tapestry of life. The event concludes with an integration experience as we return to our greater community with the medicine of the night. 

The Beauty Way album and tour are inspired by Diné (Navajo) teachings from Poranguí & Ashley’s beloved Southwest. To walk in the Beauty Way is to live in balance and harmony with the unfolding of all life. Walking the Beauty Way together, we weave ourselves more deeply into the fabric of the earth, herself. Porangui’s forthcoming album, Beauty Way, will be released incrementally over the summer.
