I am letting everyone know that our business will be moving down to Waverly Hall, GA (near Columbus). We are buying an 8 acre farm to expand. We will be in the area for another few weeks. If you ever pass through Columbus, GA area and want to visit our farm please let us know.

Today we are at the farmers market at Boondocks Farm in Jackson, SC. Come check it out. Open 10am-2pm.

We are out at our usual spot selling our pork and eggs today. Along Washington Rd at the Rentalquip in Evans. We will be here until about 4pm.

Well come to our new page. We plan to bring you news about our farm adventure. Back in June 2019 we began this adventure with our first flock of coturnix quail. We have been experimenting with raising different colors while learning the ropes of how to raise these awesome birds. Then about September 2019 (a year ago) my wife and I had the idea to expand our farm and try raising pasture raised pigs. I honestly did not know what we were getting ourselves into. I studied the system Joel Salatin uses to raise pigs on pasture and I was intrigued. We decided to make the plunge into raising pigs at the end of Nov 19 when we leased about 10 acres of land in Thomson, GA to begin our trial year. It took about two months to prepare eight paddocks and after conducting some research on heritage breeds we choose to purchase 20 Berkshire feeder pigs at the end of Jan 2020. We really had no idea what we gotten ourselves into. We made mistakes along the way but hey that's the way you learn and keep growing. After about eight months our pigs were now fully grown hogs at about 250-300 pounds each and boy do they like to eat. We wanted to make sure our pigs received the best possible nutrition and variety of diet. So now we are in the middle of selling the pork at our stand that we setup every Friday evening and all day Saturday. We have enjoyed meeting so many people along the way and we hope to see more people in the coming weeks. We normally set up our stand on Friday evening from 4:30pm-7:00pm at the Street & Trail Motorsports on Washington Rd in Evans, GA (4277 Washington Rd, Evans, GA 30809).
