For those of you at Bible Study tonight, sorry! Not sure why all the notes didn’t print but here they are for y’all and everyone else who wants the facts of Israel and the prophecies of Ezekiel 36 and 37 and Zephaniah and Isaiah 66 fulfilled! 💙💙💙🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱

Israel & End Times
Ezekiel 36 & 37

Written between 593 & 565 BC.
Some things have been fulfilled in the past, and some in our lifetimes, and some chapters are for the future. It is written in chronological order where some prophets writings are not.

Starting at the end of the book, chapters 40-48 he writes about the Kingdom Age, also known as the Millennial Kingdom. The 1000 year reign of Christ on earth after the 7 year Tribulation Period. Then there’s going to be a new heaven and a new earth. Ezekiel details the Millennial Temple (4th Temple) that will be built and describes life during that time on earth.

Chapters 38-39 he writes about the climactic battle by the nations against Israel known as the battle of Armageddon.
Before that happens, we’ll talk about the fact that SINCE the destruction of Jerusalem in 586 BC by the Babylonians, for the next 2500 Yrs, Israel as a Nation no longer existed.
It was taken over by foreign nations and Jews were dispersed around the world.
From 586 BC UNTIL 1948 AD, Jews had no exclusive homeland, no government, not even a common language. Because…….
When the Jews were taken captive into Babylon, they adopted the Aramaic language of their captors.
When they returned from captivity
in Babylon they were speaking Aramaic, not Hebrew. Jesus spoke Aramaic, not Hebrew.
During the dispersal they were oppressed and massacred all over the world for 2500 years. And those that did manage to live within the ancient boundaries of Israel were dominated by foreign powers.
1st- Babylonian empire.
2nd- Persian empire.
3rd- Greek empire.
4th- Roman empire. (Jesus times)
(Side note if you have a Bible with maps in it and one of them says “Palestine in Christ’s Time” that is NOT factual. Palestine didn’t exist until 135 AD when to spite the Jews who he hated, Caesar Hadrian renamed the area “Palestina” in reference to the Philistines who were their ancient enemies. Remember Goliath?)
5th- Byzantine empire.
6th- Arab-Islamic empire. (When the Muslim worship centers were built. They also placed a Muslim cemetery outside the Eastern Gate that they double blockaded because they heard the Messiah would come through it! Little did they understand that when He returns after the tribulation He will set His feet on the Mount of Olives and a great earthquake will split the earth through the cemetery and the wall!!!)
7th- Catholic Crusaders
8th- French Mamelukes of Napoleon’s Imperial Guard
9th- Ottoman Empire.
10th- British empire.
All of that changed in the 20th century! In a miraculous way!
The fulfillment of Ezekiel 36-37! The reestablishment of the State of Israel. It happened in 1948.
Ezekiel predicted/prophesied this in the 6th Century BC and it came to pass in some of your lifetimes if you were born in or before 1948.
If you are 75 or older.

36:1-7 “And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord! 2 Thus says the Lord God: “Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,’ ” ’ 3 therefore prophesy, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because they made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you are taken up by the lips of talkers and slandered by the people”— 4 therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which became plunder and mockery to the rest of the nations all around— 5 therefore thus says the Lord God: “Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with wholehearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country.” ’ 6 “Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations.” 7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: “I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame. 8 But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come.

22-30 “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. 23 And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord,” says the Lord God, “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. 24 For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. 28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. 29 I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you. 30 And I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields, so that you need never again bear the reproach of famine among the nations.

1-
1-7 God denounces the nations that take over the land of Israel. That’s why I’m vs 5 He calls it MY LAND and He says that those that take it will incur vs. 6 MY JEALOUSY & MY FURY. God brought about the Jews from ONE man Abram, a gentile, in Iraq, elderly, so that when they have a child people would know it was a miracle. He then gave title deed to Canaan to Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob in Genesis 15:18! Roughly 300k square miles. It shrunk in King David’s time.
In 1917, after WWI Brittain defeated the Ottoman Empire and took over the area of Israel. The Ottoman Turks were Allie’s of N**i Germany. They declared the Balfour Declaration in 1917 to establish a homeland for the Jewish people which they had not had for about 2400 years.
In 1922 the Arab Hussein family objected. So to appease them, Churchill went against the Balfour Declaration and drew a line down the Jordan River and gave what he called the “Trans Jordan”, on the right side of the Jordan to the Arab people. In 1946 the eastern was officially named Jordan. And the Hussein family still controls it. King Abdullah of Jordan’s official name is King Abdullah the Second, Ben Al Hussein.
The State of Israel is smaller now than the state of New Jersey. God gave them approximately 300,000 square miles. Now, they live in 8,130 square miles.
Any time we have a peace plan that gives Israeli land for peace is going against what God said.

2- God defends Israel for His own name’s sake.
22-28-
Not for their sake or name, but for His sake and Name! Despite their idolatry, He says I love you and will restore and forgive and cleanse you.

3-God declares Himself to all the nations through the reestablishment of Israel!
Ezekiel 36:34-36 The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by. 35 So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the wasted, desolate, and ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ 36 Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the Lord, have spoken it, and I will do it.”

Over 2500 years Israel area had become uninhabited and desolate. In 1867 Mark Twain visited Israel. He wrote about what he saw. “A desolate country whose soil is rich enough but given over wholly to weeds. A silent mournful expanse. A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action. We never saw a human being on the whole route. There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil had almost deserted the country.”
1881 “And yet, God took this otherwise desolate wasteland and made it fruitful again.”
In 1948 God brought the Jewish people back to this land and since then Israel has become one of the most prosperous and prolific nations on the planet.
Isaiah 27:6

Today Israel is the #1 exporter of fruit to Europe! A nation that could fit inside Orange County California! They export more than 1.3 BILLION agricultural products every year. They developed drip irrigation and turned the desert into fertile fields. There is no other explanation for the return and success of Israel except by the divine hand of God Himself!
Between 1901 & 2018, little over 900 Nobel Peace prizes have been awarded. Jews received 203! 23%! 14.5 million Jews around the world today. They represent .19% of the world’s population but awarded 23% of worlds Nobel prizes! For perspective, the muslim population which represents 23% of world’s population received 12. Not to be disparaging, just acknowledging the hand of God!

4- God demonstrates His power and faithfulness to His Word through the reestablishment of Israel.
Ezekiel 37:1-14
The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

Dry bones refer to the fact that the nation of Israel was dead. Scattered. Ezekiel sees the Israeli Jews after being dominated 2500 Yrs by a foreign empire. God showed Ezekiel something in the future that would be fulfilled in 1948 when God regathered the Jewish people from around the world. He put it in their hearts to go back to their home country. To God. Even though so many countries around the world tried to massacre the Jewish people. Spanish Inquisition, Russian Czars, and N**i Germany.
At the end of the 1800s a man named Theodore Herzl, a Hungarian Jew, became the father of the Zionist movement when his heart stirred for his homeland. Jews began to return to Israel. This is called “making Aliyah.” The journey back to Israel. But arriving there they all had different languages. To have unity they needed a common language. Then God began moving in the heart of Eleazar Ben-Yehuda and he made his way from Europe to Jerusalem in 1881. He was a Russian Jewish linguist, lexicographer, and journalist. He is renowned as the lexicographer of the first Hebrew dictionary and also as the editor of Jerusalem-based HaZvi, one of the first Hebrew newspapers published in the Land of Israel. Ben-Yehuda was the primary driving force behind the revival of the Hebrew language. Up to now the main languages were Aramaic (which Jesus spoke) and Yiddish (a European Hebrew dialect). He said, “In my household, we will learn and speak the ancient Hebrew language. Others began following suit. God rebirthed the Hebrew language as prophesied in Zephaniah 3:9
“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one accord.”
Remember Genesis 11:1-9?
11 Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. 3 Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. 4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”
5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let US (Yeshua, Jesus, already existed and even created everything because He is the Word) go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.” God dispersed them, and eventually the Jews because they had gotten into idolatry and decided they could make it to heaven on their own so they weren’t seeking Yahweh.
In the early 1900s Brittain became sympathetic and supportive of the Zionist movement. So after they defeated the Ottoman Empire (Turks) kicking them out of Israel they took Israel over.
The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British Government in 1917 during the First World War announcing its support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine. (Israel had been re-named “Palestina” by Caesar Hadrian in 135 AD after their ancient enemies the Philistines. He did it out of hatred for the Jews) It was an Ottoman region with a small minority Jewish population. The declaration was contained in a letter dated November 2, 1917 from the United Kingdom's Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, for transmission to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. The text of the declaration was published in the press on November 9, 1917.
In 1947, to the dismay of the Arab League, the UN announced a Partition Resolution allowing the Jews a permanent homeland.
So another Zionist Jew from Poland named David Ben-Gurion
declared Israel’s Independence on May 14, 1948. When he did, every neighboring nation launched an offensive attack! Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Saudi Arabia. and Lebanon. The Secretary General of the Arab League said “This will be a war of extermination and a momentous massacre.”
Out-numbered, out-skilled, and out-armed, the Jews Independence was supported by President Truman but not with military armament. They were alone!
No cannons or tanks, 9 obsolete planes, and only 19,000 soldiers to battle against all these Arab nations! But AGAINST ALL ODDS, by the miraculous hand of Yahweh, they emerged as the Nation of Israel!
Isaiah 66:8
Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children.

Isaiah wrote chapter 66 in his last prophecy in 681 BC. It was fulfilled 3 years after WWII ended.

God, through His prophets,
-foretold the coming back to His land of the Jews from around the world.
-the re-birth of the ancient Hebrew language.
-and the Nation of Israel being reborn in one day!

Ezekiel 37:14�I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’ ”

God is faithful to His promises!
Therefore it is He that we can trust completely with everything happening right now, and with the future!

I, Dawn, met a handsome young man, a veteran, in the store I manage (2 Wolves Herbal Apothecary - Augusta) this week who had been in an accident several Yrs ago that left him paralyzed and in a wheelchair. He said because of the the accident, he met Jesus and became a Christian. Said he would rather
“know Christ and not walk, than walk and not know Christ.”
That broke me! I wept and hugged his neck and said I was so honored to know him! Humble strength!
