The Wandering Café — Latch Catering We’re excited to provide Evanston and North Shore residents with local street food, sourced from local farmers, with equitable neighborhood access. The Wandering Café’s pedal powered food cart means fewer emissions into our air.

Last summer/fall, I did a number of local pop-up lunches that got me all excited again about being a chef(sometimes, being a mom and meal prepping can take it's toll on your creativity). Then, Dan had a great idea: a food bike!

Chef-driven menu, sourced from local farmers, with equitable neighborhood access. Our pedal powered food cart means fewer emissions into Evanston's air. But the main appeal is simple: great local food!

Our Indiegogo campaign is gearing up for launch so stay tuned! In the meantime, we're crowdsourcing a name for the food bike and here are the top 3. Let us know your pick!
